Gongdeok bakery gift pickup: heart & hallabong madeleines, Fluffy

In short

Fluffy Bake Shop is a bakery and dessert café in the SK Leaders Castle Complex 2 shopping arcade near Exit 2 of Gongdeok Station in Mapo-gu, Seoul. On a trip to pick up a dessert gift, the blogger browsed heart and smile madeleines and carrot and melon financiers, then tried the Lescure butter salt bread and a vanilla canelé. If you want prettily shaped baked goods for a gift plus salt bread that is crisp outside and chewy inside, Fluffy Bake Shop is the place.

Where is Fluffy Bake Shop, and what about parking?

Fluffy Bake Shop is close to Gongdeok Station Exit 2, and if you drive, the SK Leaders View Complex 2 arcade parking lot is free for 1 hour. I came here to pick up a dessert gift, and the financiers and madeleines are so pretty that they make perfect presents.

It's near the station, but it was also nice that you get 1 hour of free parking if you come by car. Very good 😘

What desserts does Fluffy Bake Shop have?

Fluffy Bake Shop has a really wide range of desserts: canelés, madeleines, salt bread, tarts, financiers and more! The cute thing is that even though they're common desserts, each one has its own little twist ❤️

For example, a carrot financier like this one, hahahaha. So adorable, right? 🥕

Heart and smile madeleines for gifts

The heart madeleine in particular had chocolate on top that tasted kind of cherry? Strawberry? It was big, cute and pretty 🌸

And this one! It's smile-shaped, and I was told it's a plain madeleine. Is it even allowed to be this cute, haha. The madeleines come in such cute, varied shapes that they make perfect gifts.

Nolto seaweed, hallabong and melon: unusual baked goods

There are lots of really unusual financiers too, haha. They even have the gamtae (seaweed) madeleine that appeared on the TV show Amazing Saturday (Nolto). The hallabong (Korean citrus) madeleine has a leaf stuck on top, hahaha. And there's a melon financier that looks like a melon bread (melon-pan).

A Gongdeok salt bread spot: how is the salt bread at Fluffy Bake Shop?

The salt bread at Fluffy Bake Shop is made with Lescure butter and is crisp outside and chewy inside, so even if you come for desserts, you have to order at least one. Salt bread lovers, the Gongdeok salt bread place was hiding here, hahahaha

I wasn't expecting anything, but they really sell that famously crackly-looking salt bread here. And you know how good that butter is. The owner turned out to be a knowledgeable person who uses Lescure butter ⭐️ With that, the salt bread can't possibly be bad, honestly... ˚♡˚

Crisp outside, chewy inside, a perfect hollow and a perfect bottom ⭐️ Eating it made me happy.

They also do a great vanilla canelé

I also tried the basic vanilla canelé at Fluffy Bake Shop, and even my 🐺, who doesn't know much about desserts, raved about how good it was, haha. Crisp outside, chewy inside, they do canelés well here.
