I got this Lifeclue knee brace to use while running and hiking. One of my knees tends to hurt especially badly after a long walk or run, so this time I tried wearing it on just one side. I received this product free of charge and used it.

What mattered when choosing a knee brace?
The knee brace I used before kept sliding down and chafing my skin, so I threw it away. This time, the important things were whether it would stay secure while moving and whether the parts touching my skin would feel uncomfortable.

What was in the delivery?
The delivery felt quick, and the product arrived wrapped in bubble wrap.

My set included one knee brace, one roll of muscle tape, and a taping guide.

At the time the original post was written, on March 16, 2026, the information said that tape and a guide were included with purchase of the main product, and an additional muscle tape roll could be added for ₩3,000. Since I only tape occasionally, I felt the one roll I received would be enough for a while.

How is the brace made, and how do you adjust it?
It is matte black and connects a silicone pad with a spandex band. You wear it by adjusting the Velcro to fit your body.

The silicone pad is three-dimensional to match the shape of the patella, or kneecap, and has a perforated pattern. When I wore it, it felt like it was supporting my knee.

What does the included taping guide cover?
The muscle tape was listed as 5 m in total length. The included guide described taping methods for areas including the calves, knees, and ankles.

Did it slide down or chafe while running and dancing?
I wore it while practicing a dance with lots of moves that bend one knee. Even though I moved vigorously, it did not slide down, and it did not feel constricting either.

Usually, my knee hurt after dance practice, but when I wore it this time, I did not feel that aching soreness. This is simply the change I noticed in my own wearing experience.
It also stayed secure while I ran, and I did not have the skin-chafing discomfort I had with my previous brace. That was what I liked most, and I wanted to wear it for hiking going forward too.
How do you wash it after use?
The care instructions recommend lightly hand-washing it in lukewarm water with neutral detergent. The silicone section can be wiped with a wet wipe or rinsed under running water. A washing machine and dryer may damage the Velcro, according to the instructions.
