Baby-friendly Italian restaurant in Suwon, weekday late lunch: Low
In short
Low Five Sinpung is a casual Italian restaurant on Sinpung-ro in Haenggung-dong, Suwon, known for pizza and pasta. Visiting with a baby and a friend for a weekday late lunch, the writer ordered a half-and-half pizza (corn and potato), vongole pasta, and kimchi fried rice, and staff provided a baby chair, baby dishware, and stored the stroller inside since the entrance had a step. A relaxed Haenggung-dong spot that's genuinely easy to enjoy with a baby in tow.

Haenggung-dong Italian food, Haenggung-dong date spot, Haenggung-dong pizza — the first time I brought my baby out to Haenggung-dong! Even on a weekday there were so many people; with the nice weather these days, it seems like everyone's on a Haenggung-dong date lately. Today I went to get pizza at a Haenggung-dong restaurant that turned out to be great to visit with a baby.

Low Five Sinpung is already a popular Haenggung-dong date-course restaurant. There are two branches in Haenggung-dong, and I went to the Sinpung branch since it was a bit more convenient to get to. Park at Jangan Public Parking Lot and it's about a 4-minute walk from there.
Recommended Haenggung-dong pizza spot: Low Five Sinpung

Low Five Sinpung has a really nice exterior. The atmosphere makes it good for dates, outings with a baby, or family gatherings alike.

Once the weather gets a bit cooler, you'll be able to eat outdoors at Low Five Sinpung too. Above all, the staff were kind and the food came out fast — very satisfying!

Waiting, seating, and the weekday late-lunch vibe
There's a sign about waiting since there's often a wait on weekends, and you can join the wait through Catch Table too. I went on a weekday, a bit late for lunch, so luckily I could walk right in with no wait.
Low Five has a nice atmosphere and plenty of tables, so table turnover seemed fast. There's also group seating, so it's good for gatherings.

To order, you just scan the QR code visible on each table with your phone. It was convenient and the menu was easy to read too.

After ordering, the order details showed up like a receipt, which was handy. Payment is made afterward at the counter. Since the Haenggung-dong pizza here is supposedly famous, we ordered a half-and-half pizza, vongole pasta, and kimchi fried rice.
Why it was fine to bring a baby along
Low Five Sinpung was easy to visit with a baby since they provided baby dishware and had a baby chair available. There's a step at the entrance that made it a bit hard to bring the stroller in, but staff kindly stored the stroller inside for us.

The window seat with sunlight pouring in was really pretty. I'd gone looking for proper Haenggung-dong Italian food and I really got a full-on Italian spread, haha. Pizza, pasta, and kimchi fried rice — the best combo >.<

Cooking starts as soon as you order, and it was nice that all the food came out together. A big plus for someone like me who likes taking photos, haha. The plating was pretty too, so this is a place you'd get praised for taking someone to on a Haenggung-dong blind date!

Vongole pasta
Vongole pasta with the clams' savory flavor alive and well! The plating was a work of art. They gave us a separate plate for discarding the clam shells, and you can squeeze the lemon on to taste.

The oil's flavor really came through, making it delicious. There was just the right amount of pepper on it too, which cut through any richness! The pasta noodles were cooked just right — soft yet chewy.

Half-and-half pizza (corn·potato)
And the half-and-half pizza we ordered. It's on the affordable side too, and the crispy dough was so good — real Haenggung-dong pizza! We ordered corn and potato, and both were a hit. The corn went really well with the cheese, and the potato had a hot chili sauce that made it nicely spicy.

The two of us ordered three menu items, and the pizza portion was so generous we packed two slices to go. It was great being able to enjoy three dishes between two of us at this Low Five Italian spot. I went with a friend and my baby, and everyone was super happy with how good it was.

Kimchi fried rice
This casual restaurant doesn't just do Italian food — they also have kimchi fried rice, which was great for enjoying a variety of dishes together. Who knew there was a place like this in Haenggung-dong — I want to stop by every time I come here. The pizza-and-pasta combo made for a great Haenggung-dong date course, haha.

The soft egg omelet added even more flavor to the kimchi fried rice. The fried rice seasoning is pretty spicy, so if you can't handle spice well, it might be good to ask for it milder, haha.

The pizza, pasta, and kimchi fried rice combo was just perfect at Low Five Sinpung. Apparently it started out as a small brunch place, and as they kept adding new menu items one by one, it grew into a full casual restaurant like this!

Great atmosphere and every dish we ordered was delicious — such a solid Haenggung-dong restaurant! It had been a while since I'd been to Haenggung-dong, and I left having had a really enjoyable meal with my baby.

The pizza dough was chewy and the cheese was so rich, making it even more delicious. Just thinking about that crispy, chewy dough now makes me want to eat it again ㅠ_ㅠ If you're looking for a Haenggung-dong date course or a good Italian restaurant, I highly recommend Low Five Sinpung!
