Isu Station pizza pub with tteokbokki and a shopping-day lunch
In short
Raymond Isu Branch is an American-style slice pizza pub in a white standalone building near Exit 9 of Isu Station in Dongjak, Seoul. A lunch stop before shopping at Go To Mall brought cheese pizza, Hawaiian pizza, tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), grape ade for 6,500 won and craft beer, and the thin, chewy dough paired especially well with the spicy rice cakes. Raymond Isu Branch has no parking, so leave the car at home and come for pizza and beer.

Let's go eat pizzaaaa~~ 🍕
Today's the day I head to Goto Mall to buy some fall clothes. Gotta eat something solid before shopping, right? Two stops from Express Bus Terminal, I went to nearby Isu Station for pizza at Raymond Isu Branch.
How to get to Raymond Isu Branch, and opening hours
Raymond Isu Branch is within a 3-minute walk of Isu Station Exit 9 (Lines 4 and 7), about 170m away. It's right behind the Isu Xi residential complex.
Come out Exit 9, keep McDonald's on your right, and go straight — but these days the escalator at Isu Xi near Exit 9 is under ongoing construction. Skip Exit 9 🚫 and come out Exit 7 near Megabox instead.

Raymond Isu Branch sits in an eye-catching, pretty white standalone building — it used to be the spot for the nostalgic old Jjwang Donkkaseu.
- Hours: Tuesday–Saturday 11:30am–11:00pm
- Last order 10:30pm
- Closed Sunday, Monday
- No parking
No drunk driving, no no~ Leave the car at home since you'll want beer with your pizza.
What does Raymond Isu Branch look like inside?
From the entrance, Raymond Pizza gives off that distinctly vintage-yet-stylish American pizza shop feel. Am I in New York or something? The retro interior stood out without feeling overdone.
They only sell 20 pies on weekdays and 30 on weekends, apparently. The owner started Raymond because they missed the slice pizza they loved eating while studying in the US. It's become a genuine American-style slice pizza pub brand that draws crowds — premium American slice pizza, Raymond Pizza 🍕

There are group tables too.

A hip-feeling space.

Something about the lighting and atmosphere feels foreign — great for chatting with friends over a beer, but also perfectly suited for a date or a casual everyday meal.
Overall the store is impressively clean and the tables are spaced comfortably, so you can eat in a relaxed, pleasant atmosphere 👍 Let's take a look at the menu now~

Raymond Isu Branch lunch set prices and what we ordered
The Raymond Isu Branch lunch set runs ₩9,900–11,900, which looked like good value. Surprisingly, I saw older customers enjoying pizza with the lunch set too.

Since it's supposedly known for great craft beer, we ordered a cold beer along with grape ade, tteokbokki, cheese pizza, and Hawaiian pizza.

First to arrive: a cool, sweet 🍇 ade, ₩6,500.

Day drinking is the best drinking, hahaha — a craft beer that paired perfectly with the pizza 🍺

How did the cheese pizza and Hawaiian pizza taste?
Raymond Pizza's biggest charm is the harmony between the crispy-outside-chewy-inside dough and the generously piled-on cheese and toppings. The pizza and tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) arrived together.

The pizza's size doesn't quite come through in photos — it's huge. Compare it to the pizza cutter. Thin, chewy dough, New York-style cheese pizza 🍕

The dough wasn't too thick or dry, keeping a nice medium thickness — crispy on the bottom, chewy inside. Even the crust edge was so nutty and savory that even people who usually leave their crusts could dip them in parmesan or garlic sauce and finish every last bite.

Spicy tteokbokki with pizza: how well do they go together?
Let's try the spicy tteokbokki. Bouncy, chewy wheat rice cakes.

The spicy tteokbokki cut right through the richness of the pizza — an amazing match as a beer snack too. Now I get why this Sadang-dong hangout always has a crowd in the evenings.
Great location, great taste — pizza and beer done right in Isu, Raymond Pizza 🍕 Be sure to grab a coupon on Naver before you visit ✅️
