Men's running outfit trail test: Everlast Running Crew Set
In short
Everlast Men's Running Crew Set is a men's running outfit tested on a Korean dulle-gil trail. My husband wore the black layered T-shirt and shorts-legging set for walking and light jogging, and found the true-to-size fit roomy and comfortable. Verdict: a satisfying set for sweaty workouts, with little shape change after washing.

My husband usually enjoys trekking on dulle-gil trails and light jogging. His old workout clothes were worn out and he was considering new ones, so he received the Everlast Men's Running Crew Set and tried it on.

What did my sweaty husband look for in workout clothes?
He used to run in comfortable T-shirts, but it was uncomfortable when sweat built up and the clothes stuck to his body. Since he tends to sweat a lot, this time he paid attention to breathability and how the clothes felt after the sweat dried.

We chose black. Worn as a full set, it gave an overall neat impression.

How are the layered set and pockets?
The set consists of a stretch layered T-shirt and shorts leggings. When I first touched it, the fabric was substantial rather than overly thin and limp, and it felt cool against the skin.

The top has short sleeves joined to long sleeves. It was introduced as having UV-protection functionality, and the sleeves felt cool, like cooling arm sleeves. I thought it could be worn in midsummer too, though this wear test was not a summer experience.

He said it was convenient that the shorts and leggings are attached, so there is no need to prepare them separately. There is a zippered pocket at the hip and side pockets too, providing space for storage.

How did compression and chafing feel on the trail?
After wearing it himself on a dulle-gil trail, my husband said it felt light and comfortable. He said the leggings section is made of soft stretch fabric, so it held his legs just enough without feeling overly compressive.

My husband has fairly muscular lower body, but he had no thigh chafing while moving in it. He said the clothes did not catch or get in the way even when he walked or ran with a big stride.

After exercising, the sweat dried quickly and the clothes did not stick to his body, so he felt comfortable. This was especially satisfying for my husband, who sweats a lot.
Is there room in a usual true-to-size fit?
My husband chose his usual true-to-size, and it fit well overall in a roomy sports fit. He also liked that the moderately oversized fit showed less of his body outline.

With its black color and simple design, I felt it would work well not only for running or gym workouts, but also for camping or light outings.

How did it hold its shape after washing, and was it easy to care for?
There was almost no change in shape after washing, and it was easy to care for. Within the scope of this try-on, we were satisfied with the stretch while moving, the non-clingy feel after exercise, and the convenience of having the top and bottom together as one set.
