Kalguksu spot at Siheung outlet: smoky octopus on a cold day, Pyeongi
In short
Pyeongi Dambaek Bone Kalguksu Siheung Premium Outlets is a kalguksu (knife-cut noodle soup) restaurant in the first-floor restaurant row of Siheung Premium Outlets (Shinsia) in Siheung, Gyeonggi. The writer ordered the ₩49,800 set of spicy stir-fried octopus with two bowls of clam kalguksu and got a smoky, piled-high octopus stir-fry, noodle soup loaded with clams, fresh geotjeori kimchi and chili peppers tossed in ssamjang. Pyeongi Dambaek Bone Kalguksu goes beyond typical outlet food-court fare and is a safe pick before or after shopping.

Today I'm giving you my honest review of a kalguksu and spicy octopus stir-fry spot at Siheung Premium Outlets (Shinsia): Pyeongi Dambaek Bone Kalguksu Siheung Premium Outlets (평이담백 뼈칼국수 시흥프리미엄아울렛점).
Hours and facilities at Pyeongi Dambaek Bone Kalguksu
The restaurant is open daily from 10:30 to 21:00, with last order at 20:30. It offers group seating, takeout, Wi-Fi, pet-friendly seating, separate men's and women's restrooms, baby chairs, easy payment and parking.

Inside Siheung Premium Outlets, this is a great place for a hearty, special meal before or after shopping. Its menu is different from ordinary kalguksu shops and the usual outlet food-court fare, and it's popular with locals and with visitors to Shinsia!
The address is 1116, 699 Seohaean-ro, Siheung-si, Gyeonggi, South Korea. I've attached a map for anyone who doesn't know where it is.

Where is it in Siheung Premium Outlets, and how does parking work?
The restaurant is in the first-floor restaurant row of the Shinsia outlet. As you can see in the photos, it's right in view from the entrance, so even first-timers won't get lost. ✨
For parking, just use the Siheung Premium Outlets lot. There's plenty of space and no separate parking fee, so it felt easy to drop by anytime~ On weekends or busy times, I'd recommend allowing a bit of extra time!
Pyeongi Dambaek menu and set options
The menu has a really wide range: the signature bone kalguksu, spicy bone kalguksu, bibim kalguksu (spicy mixed noodles), clam kalguksu, bone soup rice, perilla oil kalguksu, cold kalguksu, daedagi spicy octopus stir-fry ("mountain-pile" portion) and gabrisal suyuk (boiled pork). There are also hearty sets like a meat dumpling set, a spicy chive pancake set and a gabrisal suyuk set, so you can pick whatever suits you. 👍
There's also a set with spicy octopus stir-fry and two refreshing clam kalguksu. If you want fiery heat and a cooling broth at the same time, definitely order this set! 👍

How do you order and return your bowls?
You can order from staff at the counter, or scan the QR code and order on your smartphone~ If you come at a busy time, use mobile ordering to cut the wait! 😊
For the origin of ingredients, please see the origin sign photo I've attached!

Since it's a stall inside an outlet food court, you pick up your food yourself, and after eating you also return your empty bowls to the counter (return window). 🍽️

Interior and seating
For a place inside an outlet food court, the interior was very clean and pleasant! Tables are spaced generously and the seating feels roomy, so it's comfortable for families or anyone who wants a relaxed meal after shopping. (It looked good for eating solo too.)

How were the fresh kimchi, chili ssamjang muchim and other side dishes?
They say sides make a great restaurant, and the sides here passed right from the start! The crunchy, sweet-and-spicy geotjeori (fresh kimchi) clung nicely when I put it on the kalguksu noodles, and the chili ssamjang muchim (fresh chilies tossed in a nutty ssamjang paste) refreshed my mouth so I kept reaching for it. The kalguksu and octopus stir-fry were great, and the kimchi and chili ssamjang muchim were perfect too, so I was very satisfied. 😊

Octopus stir-fry + 2 clam kalguksu set, ₩49,800
We ordered the octopus stir-fry + 2 clam kalguksu set for ₩49,800. It's finally here! Sweet-and-spicy octopus stir-fry to whet the appetite, plus two refreshing, clean-tasting clam kalguksu. A generous spread.

Isn't it amazing to eat a dish this good at an outlet,, 💛 Every time I came shopping at Shinsia I struggled to pick a food-court meal, but of all the outlet food I've had so far, this was the best in every way, from looks to taste! Now I get why the Google and Naver ratings are high and the reviews are good. 💯✨

Clam kalguksu: loaded with clams, clear and cooling broth
The clam kalguksu made me gasp the moment I sipped the broth! As you'd expect from a kalguksu specialist, it's packed with clams, so the broth is really clear and refreshing, yet there's a deep, salty savoriness that keeps coming through as you chew.

Wrap crunchy fresh kimchi around the chewy noodles, take a bite, then finish with the cool broth. What a combo. 👍
See how many clams there are? They never seem to run out! 🦪✨ Thanks to all those clams, the broth was incredibly cool and savory. If you like clams, you have to try the clam kalguksu~ Especially on a cold day like these, one bowl warms you right through and feels so filling!!

Mountain-pile spicy octopus stir-fry: fire-grilled flavor and plump octopus
The spicy octopus stir-fry's subtle fire-grilled aroma drifted up as soon as it arrived and really stirred my appetite. The octopus wasn't tough at all; it was plump and springy yet tender to chew, and the sharp sweetness of the crunchy onions and scallions stir-fried with it went perfectly with the chubby octopus. It was much better than what you get at most octopus stir-fry specialists, and honestly I'd go to Shinsia just for this octopus stir-fry alone! 👍✨

Just look at the color of the sauce, you can tell how good it is, right? Between the plump octopus, the sweet-and-spicy sauce and the vegetables that stayed crunchy and sweet, I enjoyed it so much more!
Tip: mix clam kalguksu noodles into the octopus stir-fry sauce
The octopus stir-fry is great on its own, but here's my own tip to make it even better: scoop out a bit of the clam kalguksu noodles and toss them in the octopus stir-fry sauce! It tastes like a spicy bibim kalguksu bursting with savoriness, and it was crazy good~ Please try it this way! 🔥😋

Maybe because the sweet-and-spicy sauce soaked right into the chewy noodles, I kept inhaling it from the first bite,, honestly the most delicious thing I've eaten recently~ Add the crunchy chili ssamjang muchim and you won't get tired of it; you'll clean the plate to the end! 👍
Overall verdict on Pyeongi Dambaek Bone Kalguksu Siheung Premium Outlets
Pyeongi Dambaek Bone Kalguksu at Siheung Premium Outlets was a real find that goes well beyond what you'd expect of an outlet food court. The clam kalguksu with its cool, deep broth, the octopus stir-fry with proper fire-grilled flavor, and the crunchy fresh kimchi and chili ssamjang muchim: nothing was lacking in this hearty set. If you come shopping at Shinsia and want a filling meal that won't let you down, I recommend stopping by! 💛
