Gudi Station bar for clam soup and coin cotton candy: Eulji Pocha
In short
Eulji Pocha Guro Digital Complex Branch is a 110-pyeong (about 360 m²) retro-themed Korean pub near Exit 1 of Gudi Station in Guro, Seoul. Over a 4-hour visit, the writer had clam soup (19,000 won) with soju, used Eulji Stationery coins to make cotton candy and dalgona (honeycomb toffee), and joined the Jongno Record DJ's song-request event. Eulji Pocha Guro Digital Complex Branch suits friends who want a lively bar with plenty to do rather than a quiet drink.

I was looking for a bar with lots of retro vibes near Gudi Station, so I went to Eulji Pocha Guro Digital Complex Branch (을지포차 구로디지털점)!!! The blue sign pops out from far away, and right from the entrance it feels like an old-school pocha (Korean street-style pub).
Inside, it's not just a bar. It's designed like a retro alley, with a DJ booth, stationery-shop events and even dalgona making, so you can play while you drink. Let me introduce Eulji Pocha Guro Digital Complex Branch, a great place for a fun round of drinks with friends in Gudi!
Eulji Pocha Guro Digital Complex Branch hours, location and parking
Eulji Pocha Guro Digital Complex Branch is open every day from 17:00 to 06:00 the next day. Parking isn't available, so you'll need to use a nearby public parking lot.

It's a 5-minute walk from Exit 1 of Gudi Station! At 110 pyeong it's huge, so I think it's really good for big groups!

What is the retro interior at Eulji Pocha near Gudi Station like?
The inside of Eulji Pocha Guro Digital Complex Branch is a fully retro concept. It's not a bar with just tables; it feels like a little alley has been brought inside.
There are signs like OB Bear, Eulji Stationery and Jongno Record, and the walls are decorated like an old shop, so we wandered around looking at everything as soon as we walked in, hahaha!! We were indoors, but it felt like sitting at a cool outdoor pocha!

Jongno Record DJ song requests and story event
Inside Eulji Pocha Guro Digital Complex Branch there's a Jongno Record (종로레코드) space where a DJ takes song requests and reads out stories. At first I thought it was just a retro photo zone, but there was a DJ inside!
The DJ takes requests, reads stories the guests have written, and even runs simple games in between! It's not just a pocha for eating and drinking; you can listen to music, join events and enjoy the atmosphere too, which I loved. There's just so much going on!

Lots of famous people have visited, it seems!

Eulji Pocha menu: how is the 19,000-won clam soup?
The menu at Eulji Pocha Guro Digital Complex Branch has so many items it's hard to choose: Cheongju pork jjagureu (braised pork stew), spicy tteokbokki, oyster cream sujebi (hand-pulled dough soup), cream udon, golbaengi (sea snail) salad, yuringi (Chinese-style fried chicken in sauce) and squid in sweet-and-sour vinegar sauce.

We ordered the clam soup (bajirak-tang, ₩19,000) as a refreshing soup dish!

We sat in front of the boarding house (하숙집) set 🤣

Snacks come out as the free side dish.
The clam soup at Eulji Pocha has clams, enoki mushrooms, crown daisy, chili peppers and udon noodles, so the broth is refreshing and spicy. The clams give it a savory depth, so it goes great with soju!!

How do you get Eulji Stationery coins?
At the Eulji Stationery (을지문방구) event at Eulji Pocha Guro Digital Complex Branch, you get coins based on how much your side dishes cost, and you can use them for cotton candy, dalgona (Korean honeycomb candy), snacks, the claw machine and ice cream ✨
- Side dishes ₩20,000-30,000: 3 coins
- Side dishes ₩10,000-20,000: 2 coins
- Drinks or side dishes under ₩10,000: 1 coin
- Writing an Instagram Story review: 4 coins
I love little events like this, so I was so excited!!

Making your own cotton candy and dalgona with coins
I made cotton candy with the Eulji Stationery coins for the first time and it was hard, hahahaha! I wanted to make it nice and round, hahaha!

A drink with cotton candy 🥃 so sweet, hahaha

I made dalgona too, and it had that feeling of playing in front of the stationery shop as a kid, so it was fun, hahaha! I wanted to make this one pretty too, hahaha... failed

Claw machines and a Life4Cuts photo booth
Inside Eulji Pocha Guro Digital Complex Branch there's also a claw machine you can play with coins,

and you can take Life Four-Cut (인생네컷, a four-frame photo booth) photos too, hahaha!!! We went for a drink and ended up playing around for a full 4 hours, hahaha!!! ✨ It was really so much fun!! ✨

Who is Eulji Pocha Guro Digital Complex Branch best for?
Eulji Pocha Guro Digital Complex Branch suits anyone looking for a fun-atmosphere bar near Guro Digital Complex Station.
