I was looking for a date spot in Hapjeong and ended up at Pizzeria O Hapjeong Station (핏제리아오 합정역점)! It's close to the station so it was easy to find, and with pizza, pasta and salad on the menu, it was a relaxed place to sit and eat on a date! While we were eating, office workers kept streaming in, so it seems to be a popular lunch spot for Hapjeong's office crowd too :) Let me introduce it~~!

Is the atmosphere at Pizzeria O Hapjeong Station good for a date?
The inside is clean and warm overall, which made it nice for a date meal. This time I came with my boyfriend!

But while we were eating, office workers just kept coming in! Seeing them pour in at lunchtime, I wondered if this is a pretty well-known lunch spot for Hapjeong office workers.
What did we order at Pizzeria O Hapjeong Station?

The two of us ordered three things: Margherita Bufala, ricotta salad and ragu pasta. The menu has pizza, pasta, salad and more, so choosing was half the fun! We tried one of each, and they all had a different feel, so they made a great combo to order together!
How does the Margherita Bufala taste?

The Margherita Bufala was the pizza I liked best that day. The pizza itself was seriously good! Maybe because it's topped with buffalo (bufala) cheese, the creamy, mellow flavor of the cheese came through more than in a regular Margherita, and it all felt fresh!
The tomato sauce, cheese and basil went well together, and it had that clean, mild taste typical of wood-fired pizza, so we kept reaching for another slice! Personally, it was my favorite of everything we ate that day!
How was the ragu pasta made with chef Lee Jun?

The ragu pasta here is a collaboration with Michelin-starred chef Lee Jun (이준), so I was curious and ordered it!! Probably because it's fresh pasta, the texture of the noodles was clearly different!
The noodles were chewy yet soft, so they were delicious with the sauce, and the ragu had a rich flavor! The noodles themselves had more bite than ordinary pasta, so the flavor felt special the more I ate! If you like ragu, this one should satisfy you!
What about the ricotta salad with honey fried bread?
And the side we ordered: the ricotta salad!

Maybe because it has ricotta cheese, the salad felt fresh and light overall! What I especially liked was that none of the vegetables were limp at all; they were crisp and fresh!

And the fried bread that came with it was way better than I expected! It reminded me a bit of Chinese-style fried bread, and eaten with the salad it somehow worked really well!

The fried bread itself is filling, so even just the salad left us fuller than expected! There's also a light drizzle of honey on top, and that sweetness went nicely with the ricotta too! A salad, but one you can eat quite heartily!
Overall verdict on Pizzeria O Hapjeong Station
Our Hapjeong date at Pizzeria O Hapjeong Station was satisfying overall! The Margherita Bufala was the tastiest for me, and I loved the creamy richness and fresh feel that bufala cheese brings!
The ragu pasta had a lovely chewy texture thanks to the fresh noodles, and the ricotta salad was fun to eat, with fresh vegetables, ricotta, sweet honey and crisp fried bread! Best of all, the atmosphere is clean and good for a date, and being close to Hapjeong Station makes it easy to get to!
