A great salad pasta spot near Sillim Station for eating solo: Prepers Diet

Today I'm telling you about my visit to Prepers Diet Food (프레퍼스 다이어트 푸드), a diet-friendly place near Sillim Station where you can eat salad pasta that actually tastes good.

Sadly... I broke up with dieting a little while ago... but my conscience sent me to Prepers Diet Food Sillim for a light lunch, heh heh.
Ta-da! Check out the Prepers calorie chart I made as an easy-to-read image for my own reference before you go.

Is Prepers Sillim Main Branch comfortable for eating alone?
Prepers Diet Food Sillim Main Branch has two floors, and you order at the kiosk at the 1st-floor entrance. It was huge for a salad shop. You can eat quietly on your own without exchanging a single word with anyone, so it's perfectly set up for solo dining near Sillim Station.

When the number on your receipt is called, you go pick up your food yourself. I went up to the 2nd floor and it was really spacious. With this much room, eating alone at the busy lunch peak is no problem at all. Super comfy, right?

You return your dishes at the return window. Overall it feels more like a café than a restaurant, which makes it really nice for solo meals near Sillim Station.

How much is the beef salad pasta combo?
The beef salad pasta combo at Prepers Sillim Main Branch is ₩14,900, or ₩13,900 if you order the pasta on its own. I ordered the combo set, which is the salad pasta plus a drink, for two beef salad pastas.

This is the menu at Prepers Diet Food Sillim. You can choose the drink in the combo, and I went with Narand Cider (나랑드사이다).

They say Narand Cider has the best ingredients among zero-sugar sodas? Not that that's why I picked it, I just like cider (lemon-lime soda) more than cola, haha.

Salad prices these days are wicked... healthy food just costs a bit more, I guess.

How does the Prepers beef salad pasta taste?
The beef salad pasta at Prepers Diet Food is simply tasty, heh heh.

It's already annoying enough to pay money for a pile of greens for the sake of health, so it can't taste bad too, right??

A seriously good Sillim Station salad pasta with just the right amount of dressing, not salty at all. Neither salty nor bland, just right. No exaggeration, I really loved it.

Beef salad pasta nutrition
The beef salad pasta I ordered is 578kcal with 50g of protein, 54g of carbs and 18g of fat. If you're a legendary gym rat and find the protein a bit short, adding an egg would be a good idea.

What's the best way to eat the beef salad pasta?
The Prepers beef salad pasta tasted best when I ate the beef, veggies and pasta noodles together in one bite. The steak isn't tough, so poke some veggies, grab two or three pieces of the salad, twirl the pasta around it, and wow, eat all three at once. It's diet food, but it's a tasty diet-friendly meal out, done!

You don't have to pick a dressing, as the noodles come already tossed in balsamic. Even without adding any extra meat topping, the portion on one plate was pretty generous. For people watching their diet, it's a very satisfying salad spot for a meal out.

Why choose beef over chicken breast when dieting and eating out
When it comes to diet meals, chicken breast salad is the basic go-to, but honestly, the chicken breast salad I eat at home is already plenty (more than enough), haha, ugh.

So when I eat out and go for a salad pasta or some kind of salad as my diet meal, I usually pick beef or duck. It tastes better than chicken breast, which I'm sick of, and when you think about it, the value seems better too.
