Why Jojo Triple Street Branch for lunch after shopping at Songdo Hyundai Outlet
I came to Songdo Hyundai Outlet to shop and stopped for lunch at Jojo Triple Street Branch (죠죠 트리플스트리트점), an okonomiyaki (savory Japanese cabbage pancake) specialist. Weekends are hectic with crowds, but coming on a weekday was relaxed and so nice!
I once went shopping at Lotte Department Store, ate alone at Jojo, and remember it being delicious, so this time I came with my husband.

Jojo Triple Street Branch is on the 1st floor of Building C at Triple Street (121b-2, 33-3 Songdogwahak-ro 16beon-gil, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon, South Korea). It is open 11:30–23:00, has parking, and has high chairs.
For parking, use the Triple Street underground car park, which is free for 5 hours on weekdays :)
Is there a wait at Jojo on a weekday lunch?
I visited at a slightly late weekday lunch and there was a wait?? T_T Luckily a table for two was available, so we got in right away!

The restaurant stretches long and narrow, with a mix of tables for 2 and 4. I also saw some people eating alone.
Unlike the Jojo inside Lotte Department Store, the Triple Street branch has a griddle at every table. Total local-Japan vibes!

We ordered the Jojo Signature Set for 2 because it's good value: okonomiyaki + yakisoba (stir-fried noodles) + donpeiyaki (a Japanese-style egg omelet). At Jojo I'd always eaten only okonomiyaki, so with two of us it's nice to try a variety, hehe.
You can choose the type of yakisoba, and since Japanese food tends to be a bit rich, I went with karai yakisoba (spicy)! Plus the must-have fizzy drinks~
The side dish served as standard is radish.
The individual utensils are so cute. I figure you cut with them and scoop up your food.
Sauces are set out at every table, so you can drizzle on as much as you like if you need more. But the dishes come with so much sauce already that I didn't need any extra!

What does Jojo's donpeiyaki (pork and egg roll) taste like?
Think of Jojo's donpeiyaki as a Japanese-style rolled omelet. It's layered with cheese and meat inside, and it's delicious! My husband said the donpeiyaki was his favorite.
Best of all, since it sits on the griddle, you can keep eating it piping hot.
Jojo's signature okonomiyaki, packed with whole shrimp
Jojo's signature okonomiyaki has perfectly cooked cabbage topped with plenty of sauce and generous whole shrimp. Maybe because I always ate only okonomiyaki whenever I came to Jojo, skipping it would have felt wrong!~
If you write a nickname when you order, they stick it on top, lol. I told my husband to write one and he put "Gaeseong-daek" (a wife from Gaeseong).. The whole shrimp inside the okonomiyaki were very generous.
How spicy is Jojo's karai yakisoba?
The karai yakisoba came out last! As the name suggests, it was definitely spicy. It also had a lot of smoky wok flavor, a burst of savory depth.
I'd always wondered whether to get yakisoba and never managed to, so this was my first time trying it!
It had plenty of toppings, with whole shrimp, meat and squid, and the udon noodles were chewy, so it was a real treat! I'd order this same combination next time. I was happy with everything we ordered.
Chatting with my husband while eating, the food vanished in no time.
Jojo Triple Street vs. Jojo at Lotte Department Store: verdict
Jojo Triple Street Branch was so delicious! Customers kept coming in nonstop. It felt like a quick trip to Japan.
Quite a few people were having it with beer. It totally looks like perfect beer food. We were happy with cola, lol, but once I'm done nursing (Suyu) I want to have it with beer!!!!!
I enjoyed the Jojo at Lotte Department Store too, but having the griddle right at the table definitely made it taste even better :) I'll be back!~
