Seoul Forest group dinner sharing 5 Italian dishes: Billadeubeulleu

In short

Billadeubeulleu Seongsu is a southern Italian restaurant near Seoul Forest in Seongdong, Seoul, the second location of a restaurant that started in Haebangchon, with an interior styled like an artist's atelier. A group shared five dishes here — aligot cheese lasagna, polpo mambo, abalone risotto, Sicilian puttanesca pasta and truffle cream gnocchi — and the lasagna, finished with cheese at the table, was the highlight. Billadeubeulleu Seongsu suits a group ordering several dishes to share, and a reservation is recommended.

What kind of restaurant is Billadeubeulleu Seongsu?

Found a spot I really want to recommend to anyone looking for good food near Seoul Forest 🍝✨ Billadeubeulleu Seongsu is easy to reach whether you're coming from Seongsu Station, Seoul Forest Station, or Ttukseom Station!

Billadeubeulleu Seongsu is a southern Italian restaurant that started in Haebangchon, and the interior is styled like an artist's atelier — the vibe is different the moment you walk in. They say the space is modeled on an artist's studio in a southern European resort town, and it was genuinely fun just looking around the space, not just eating the food. 🎨

The signature aligot cheese lasagna

Above all, the menu was really varied. Alongside pasta and risotto, there's steak, polpo (octopus), lasagna, and gnocchi, so it's a great setup for a group to order a bunch of things and share! We ordered cheese lasagna, polpo mambo, abalone risotto, Sicilian pasta, and truffle cream gnocchi — let me show you each one in detail~

First up, the signature aligot cheese lasagna! 🧀 🍝

The visuals alone were on point — they swirl the cheese on and pile it high tableside, which is fun to watch and looked so hot and steamy that it made my mouth water.

The warm lasagna and rich cheese combination really worked together, and I get why it's considered the signature dish! If you're visiting with a group, I'd definitely recommend ordering this one.

Truffle cream gnocchi and abalone risotto

Truffle cream gnocchi, need I say more.. 🤎 The chewy gnocchi paired with the truffle aroma and creamy sauce, and it stayed delicious right to the last bite~

The truffle aroma was stronger than I expected, so truffle lovers especially would be even more satisfied. The rich, silky texture was perfect too!

And personally, the abalone risotto 🦑 was one I really enjoyed. The soft, savory risotto plus abalone made for a pretty intense flavor. It was creamy without being heavy, so I kept going back for more 👍 👍

Sicilian puttanesca pasta and polpo mambo

The Sicilian pasta is a great fit if you like that distinctive Italian savory flavor~ Honestly, everything was delicious, you can't go wrong!

Polpo mambo

The polpo mambo (octopus dish) was memorable too. The chewy texture of the octopus paired well with the sauce and sides, making it great to pick at between bites of pasta or risotto, haha.

It felt like a nice accent point among Italian dishes that could otherwise feel a bit heavy, if that makes sense?

If you love seafood, I'd recommend this one even more!
