Eulwangni seafood restaurant, heart fried rice with Mom: 300°C
In short
300°C Seafood Galbi Main Branch (300도씨해물갈비 본점) is a seafood restaurant on Yeongjong Island in Incheon, near Eulwangni Beach and Inspire. The writer took Mom, a big fan of braised seafood, there on a Sunday after 2 p.m. for the ₩49,000 couple set of braised cuttlefish, seafood pajeon (savory pancake) and seafood kalguksu (knife-cut noodle soup), then added DIY fried rice. The smoky, tender braised cuttlefish and the crispy cheese seafood pajeon with dried shrimp made it an especially satisfying family meal.

I often drive out to Yeongjong Island on weekends, and today I'm introducing 300°C Seafood Galbi Main Branch (300도씨해물갈비 본점), a restaurant near Inspire that my mom, a huge seafood-stew lover, absolutely adored. The hall is big, so I'd recommend it for family meals, and since pets are allowed, it's also a good pick if you're bringing your pet along.

Where is 300°C Seafood Galbi Main Branch, and what are the hours?
300°C Seafood Galbi Main Branch is open Tuesday to Sunday, 10:30–21:00. It's close to Eulwangni Beach and Inspire Hotel on Yeongjong Island, so it's an easy stop on a Yeongjong trip or day out.
Parking

The parking lot is large, so you don't need to worry about finding a spot. (The photo came out blurry because of a camera focus issue.)
Is there a wait on weekends?

The hall is quite large, but apparently there's still a wait at peak weekend mealtimes. We went on a Sunday after 2 p.m. and the hall was still full of people, so I figured it had to be good.

It's been featured as a must-visit restaurant in various media.
A bright, spacious hall and pet-friendly seating

Even though it was late, past regular mealtime, the restaurant still had plenty of customers. The hall is very big and gets lots of natural light, so it doesn't feel stuffy, which I liked..

The pet-friendly seating is separated off, so you can eat with your pet without worrying about other diners.
The menu and what's in the couple set

We ordered the couple set for 2 at ₩49,000: cuttlefish stew, seafood pajeon (savory pancake) and seafood kalguksu (knife-cut noodle soup).

The side dishes were neat and tasty. If you run out, help yourself at the self-service bar as much as you like.
Seafood kalguksu: clams, mussels and scallops in a cool, clear broth

Seafood kalguksu is a must when you come to the seaside. The kalguksu here comes with clams, mussels and scallops, and the broth is refreshing.

I fished the clams out of the boiling seafood broth first, and while I was working on the noodles, the cuttlefish stew and seafood pajeon arrived.
Why I strongly recommend the cheese seafood pajeon

What makes the seafood pajeon here the best (?) is that the left half is topped with cheese and baked.

The cheese stretched way more than it looks in the photo.. and the pajeon was so crispy that I picked it up by hand and ate it like pizza. It was crunchy, nutty and delicious, and I noticed they use lots of tiny dried shrimp, which really boosts the savory flavor. I strongly recommend the pajeon here.. the cheese part is especially good, haha, I'm tearing up.
What does the 300°C flame-grilled cuttlefish stew taste like?

The stew is made with cuttlefish, which is in season in spring. My mom loves squid and cuttlefish, so this was an especially big hit with her.

The cuttlefish stew, quickly stir-fried over direct flame at 300°C, has a smoky char flavor and is so good.

Cooked fast with fresh ingredients, the cuttlefish was really, really tender. I piled it on white rice and loved it.. The sauce is smoky and delicious too.
₩2,000 DIY fried rice and dessert

The cuttlefish sauce was so good that even though we were full, we added DIY fried rice for ₩2,000 and cooked it ourselves.

Heart-shaped fried rice made by Mom 💗 We were full and debating whether to order it, but the table next to us, with three sons, was eating theirs with such gusto that we gave it a try. Always save room for the fried rice -

Ice cream for dessert is sold separately for ₩3,000.
300°C Seafood Galbi Main Branch: if I go back
The seafood galbi (braised short-rib-style stew) at other tables looked really good too. Next time I want to try that - Big hall, easy parking, and a convenient stop on a trip to Eulwangni or Inspire. The food is great and the owner is kind.
