What is the new Gyesan-dong café Dalgeuraem like?

Dalgeuraem is a newly opened bakery café in Gyesan-dong, Gyeyang-gu, Incheon, where you can enjoy salt bread and several kinds of cake by the slice. It's a nice stop for a day when you want a sweet dessert with a cup of coffee.

Lovely exterior of the new café Dalgeuraem in Gyesan-dong

I heard a new café had opened in Gyesan-dong, so I went to check it out~ The exterior caught my eye right away, it's so lovely!

Inside Dalgeuraem, a relaxing place to spend time

At a café you spend time chatting and also just relax, and Dalgeuraem is a great place for both~ It was my first visit, and I felt I was really glad I came, and I already want to come back.

Cakes by the slice in the Dalgeuraem showcase

What cakes are in the Dalgeuraem showcase?

The showcase at Dalgeuraem has cakes by the slice, from tiramisu to fruit cake, and each one looks delicious and pretty. It also seems like a good place to stop by for a birthday cake.

There's a good variety, so choosing is half the fun. Whether you love the deep flavor of sweet tiramisu or prefer a fresh, fruity cake, the lineup should satisfy you, so I'd recommend it to anyone with a sweet tooth.

Financiers and desserts on display at Dalgeuraem

There are lots of kinds of financiers (small French almond butter cakes) too, and I think they'd be even better with a coffee.

Which Dalgeuraem salt bread flavors are good?

Dalgeuraem is known for its salt bread (butter rolls with a salted, crisp base)! There's a wide range, from plain salt bread to ones packed with toppings.

The plain salt bread is mild and tasty, the sausage one would be great for a morning brunch, and the cream cheese one was packed with filling, soft and melting in my mouth, so good. With so many kinds of bread there's lots to choose from, and it's easy to take away~ Each piece has the quality and look of a specialty bakery, so it can't help but be good.

Salt breads picked at Dalgeuraem

How to pick your bread, and the plain, pollock roe and garlic salt breads

To choose bread at Dalgeuraem, you lay a disposable paper sheet on a tray and pick with tongs~

The plain salt bread was crisp outside and moist inside, full of rich buttery flavor. The gently spreading saltiness blends well with the butter as you chew, and I could see why so many people look for salt bread~

The pollock roe salt bread had the salty savory depth of the roe, giving it a different kind of charm, and the garlic salt bread had a strong garlic aroma and was so addictive that I finished one in no time.

Is Dalgeuraem good to visit with kids?

Dalgeuraem has baby chairs, so it's convenient to visit with young children. The drinks are varied too, with signature coffee, coffee, juice, latte, ade and tea, so it seems good for everyone from kids to adults.

When looking for a café to visit with a child, one of the most important things is whether there's a baby chair. I'd recommend this café for get-togethers with kids or family outings too!

Can you buy birthday candles at Dalgeuraem?

Dalgeuraem also sells number candles and candles with cute characters that can make a birthday pop, so it's a great quick stop for a birthday~

One salt bread alone is tasty, but trying several kinds together made each one's charm come through even more! If you like salt bread, I recommend comparing the different flavors.
