Let me introduce you to Ibaba Coffee, a dessert and latte spot near Jeonpo Station!

Where is Ibaba Coffee, and how far is it from Jeonpo Station?

Ibaba Coffee is less than 5 minutes from Jeonpo Station exit 5 (stairs) or exit 7 (escalator).

It turns out it's on the first floor of the 'Montreux' officetel building, where my sister used to live on her own years ago. It made me strangely happy for no reason >ㅠ<

I grabbed a spot at the big share table in the middle and went to order haha

Nunettine, the signature dessert at Ibaba Coffee

Ibaba's most iconic dessert is nunettine (누네띠네), a layered cream pastry that's hard to find these days ♡

They have basic, dark chocolate, and white chocolate flavors, but there was no white chocolate one that day, so it's not in the photos! But everyone, can you tell how tiny those little nunettines lined up in the first photo actually are? They're just about finger-sized, and apparently they're the ones stuck into gelato orders! So cute I kind of wanted to steal one.

Besides nunettine and gelato, they also had two kinds of Basque cheesecake! I wanted to try a bit of everything, so

Why Ibaba Coffee works for laptop work: an outlet at every seat

While waiting, let me give you a tour. Ibaba Coffee has outlets at every seat, and here's the neatly organized self-service bar.

Because of the outlets, most customers seemed to bring tablets or laptops to work! The big share table in the middle also has outlets at both ends.

I really hate low tables, but the height here is just right and the outlets are easy to use too. If I lived in Montreux, this would be my regular spot for sure.

There's also a high chair, just so you know !_! And take a quick look at this cute little thing too ^0^

Choco Basque cheesecake, 7,000 won — how dense is it?

You're looking at how dense this choco Basque cheesecake (₩7,000) is right now, aren't you?!

The cream dripping down is beautiful too ♥

It was denser than any Basque cheesecake I've had before, and I loved it. The chocolate flavor wasn't too dark, but not too milky either, so it satisfied both me, a dark chocolate person, and my boyfriend, who's a milk chocolate person, haha

Ibaba latte: lavender tea meets coffee

Next up, the Ibaba latte (₩6,000). It's a combination of their own brewed lavender tea and coffee — enjoy it without a straw at first along with the cream on top, then mix it well with the straw later!

Just like the owner said, it was sweet, so even I, who doesn't usually drink milk tea-type drinks, enjoyed it all the way to the last sip.

Basic nunettine, 3,000 won — how does it taste?

Nunettine, long time no see *ଘ(੭*ˊᵕˋ)੭* ੈ✩‧₊˚ — people call it 'human feed' as a joke, you know?

It was exactly the flavor and texture we all know, but a bit cleaner-tasting! It's even better if you dip it in the cream like my boyfriend, the resident foodie, did ♡3♡

Ah, the Americano wasn't too strong or too sour either, so it's a flavor that should suit most people.

Restroom and the overall mood at Ibaba Coffee

By the way, for the restroom at Ibaba Coffee, you take a key card and go out to use the shared restroom in the building, which was nice and clean.

If I lived in Montreux, I'd be in and out of this place all the time. The coffee and desserts are good, the seats are comfortable, the outlets are easy to use, the space isn't cramped, and yet it's not noisy either.
