The seasons changed and I wanted a new hairstyle, so I went looking for a salon and found Goun Ilsang Hair (고운일상헤어) at Helio City near Songpa Station! My style makeover worked out, so I'd like to introduce it to you haha

The inside was so clean, too!! Even the floor was spotless, and you could feel they work hard on the little details haha
Can a Leftover Hippie Perm Become an S-Curl Perm? The 1:1 Consultation
At Goun Ilsang Hair, if you leave your concerns in Naver Talktalk (messaging) when booking, the owner-stylist decides the style with you in a 1:1 hair consultation. After talking it through, I chose an S-curl perm, with curls starting from the middle of the hair.
First, my before hair! The hippie perm I got a year ago was still left from the mid-lengths down. I wanted to change my look but didn't know what would suit me, so I left a message in Talktalk when booking, and the owner, Goun, gave me kind, careful 1:1 hair consultation, so it was easy to decide hehe
My choice was an S-curl perm!!! I had wondered whether curls all the way up to the roots would be better, but she said curls starting from the middle would give a more mature image, so I trusted her and went ahead!!
How Were the Shampoo and Waiting Services?
The shampoo room at Goun Ilsang Hair has blankets ready, which they'll drape over you if you're cold, and they press on your scalp like a scalp massage while shampooing. While you wait after the shampoo, they bring you a drink and a little snack.
After the consultation I went to get my hair washed, and the shampoo room had blankets too, and they covered me with one when I was cold haha Top-notch thoughtfulness!!!! The shampoo was also super careful, and I loved how they pressed on my scalp a bit like a scalp massage haha
After the shampoo, when I waited at my seat for a bit, they brought me a snack haha
They didn't just give me a drink but a little snack too, so the time getting my hair done felt less boring haha They even raised the table for me so I could eat comfortably
S-Curl Perm Process and How Long It Took
The S-curl perm at Goun Ilsang Hair went in this order: applying the perm solution, rolling the curls including the bangs, then heat treatment. The whole thing took about 2 hours 30 minutes, and the stylist kept checking along the way that nothing felt uncomfortable.

They roll the bangs too haha During the heat treatment the back felt a little hot, and when I mentioned it, she right away laid down a towel(?) haha She kept checking on any discomfort throughout the treatment!!
S-Curl Perm Result: Calmer Curls and a Mature Look
The hair that still had leftover hippie perm was clearly tidied into calmer curls after the S-curl perm. It came out exactly as I'd pictured during the consultation.
It took about 2 hours 30 minutes in total! The curls are definitely calmer, right?!!! One step closer to a grown-up, mature image heh
It came out exactly the way I'd imagined, which was amazing haha
I posted a photo on my Instagram story and my friends said it looked so pretty haha Changing my mood with this summer's hair was a great success!

If you're looking for 1:1 tailored hair consultation and a careful, skilled salon!! This is the place haha Honestly, at salons everyone often looks busy and I get the feeling I have to decide quickly, so I sometimes can't voice my opinion, but Goun Ilsang Hair wasn't like that and I loved it haha You could feel they cared with all their heart
