Haeundae Station café, dogs welcome without a kennel: Low & Sweet
In short
Low & Sweet Roastery is a dog-friendly roastery café on Haeridan-gil in Haeundae, Busan. After a walk with her dog Hani, the writer stopped in and, with no kennel needed, kept Hani on her lap or on a seat while enjoying an iced americano, an iced latte, a pecan coconut cookie and an egg tart. After a walk around Haeundae with Hani, we headed to Low & Sweet Roastery, a roastery café in Haeridan-gil, for a coffee. I'd heard it was dog-friendly and had good coffee, and it turned out even better than I expected.
Where is Low & Sweet Roastery, and what are the hours and parking?
Low & Sweet Roastery is at 19 U-dong 1-ro 20beon-gil, Haeundae-gu, Busan, on the 1st floor, in Haeridan-gil near Haeundae Station. It is open Monday to Friday 10:00–18:00 and Saturday and Sunday 09:00–20:00.
- Address: 19 U-dong 1-ro 20beon-gil, Haeundae-gu, Busan (1st floor)
- Hours: Mon–Fri 10:00–18:00 / Sat–Sun 09:00–20:00
- Other: parking, pets allowed, roastery, hand drip, takeaway, reservations, group visits
For parking, use the Haeundae Station public parking lot right in front of the café. It's ₩300 per 10 minutes with a daily maximum of ₩8,000, so it felt very reasonable.
How can you stay with your dog at Low & Sweet Roastery?
Low & Sweet Roastery allows dogs, and you don't have to put them in a kennel. You can hold your dog or seat it with you. That was my favorite part! Many places make you keep your dog in a carrier or kennel, but here we could hold Hani or let her sit at the table, which was really comfortable.

Hani didn't seem cooped up, and we could relax without worrying about what anyone thought. I think this is a very welcome café for anyone visiting Haeundae with a dog.

Atmosphere and seating at Low & Sweet in Haeridan-gil
The café is neat and cute, with fairly generous tables and an outdoor terrace. The tasteful interior caught my eye as soon as we walked in. It was almost full when we visited, and we barely got one corner seat. Typical of a popular Haeridan-gil café, I thought.

There were terrace seats too, but they were full as well. A spot opened up later, but a very fine drizzle was drifting down, so we decided to stay inside.

What coffee can you drink at Low & Sweet Roastery?
Low & Sweet has an open roasting space where they roast their own beans, and they serve their in-house Choti Espresso blend, single espresso and single-origin hand drip. Being able to watch the roasting made me trust the beans more and look forward to the coffee even more. Coffee lovers will probably be very happy here.

They also sell beans, which looked like a nice souvenir from a Busan trip or a gift for coffee-loving friends. Another plus: on weekends they open at 9 a.m.!

Many independent cafés these days open at 10:30 or 11, but Low & Sweet opens relatively early, so it works well as the first stop of a trip, or for a morning coffee after a one-night stay.

Low & Sweet bakery menu and what we ordered
Low & Sweet displays bakes it makes every morning: egg tarts, financiers, canelés (small caramelized custard cakes), pound cake, cookies, croissants, pain au chocolat and more. There were so many freshly baked treats that I, a total bread lover, agonized for ages. What to eat?! haha

What the two of us ordered...
- Iced americano
- Iced latte
- Pecan coconut cookie
- Egg tart
You can choose the beans for your coffee, too. We picked a style with a gentle acidity!

How were the iced americano and iced latte?
The iced americano had the aroma of fresh beans and a clean finish, so it went well with the desserts. The iced latte had a nice balance of rich milk and coffee, easy to drink.

Pecan coconut cookie and egg tart
The pecan coconut cookie blended nutty pecan and coconut flavors well, sweet but not overwhelming.
The egg tart looked appetizing outside and was soft and moist inside. The sweet custard spread smoothly in my mouth, a perfect pairing with coffee. I was genuinely happy~^^
Low & Sweet Roastery if you're visiting Haeundae with a dog
Spending a relaxed time over a cup of coffee, I could see why Low & Sweet is famous as a Haeridan-gil café. Lovely atmosphere, tasty coffee, and super tasty bakes too!

Above all, what I remember most is how comfortably we could stay with our dog. If you're looking for a nice café in Haeundae or Haeridan-gil, especially one you can visit with a dog, do stop by~^^ I'd love to come back with Hani on our next Busan trip. 😊
