Unlimited hot pot and lamb skewers in Nampo-dong, Busan: Sacheon

Today I'm writing about Sacheon Hwogwa Yangkkochi Nampo Branch (사천훠궈양꼬치 남포점), a place I enjoyed SO much recently! Hot pot and lamb skewers are love ..🤤❤️

Where is Sacheon Hwogwa Yangkkochi Nampo Branch, and when is it open?

Sacheon Hwogwa Yangkkochi Nampo Branch is on the 1st floor of 7 Bupyeong 1-gil, Jung-gu, Busan, near Gukje Market and Bupyeong Kkangtong Market, on the Nampo-dong jokbal (pig's feet) alley side. There are five Sacheon Hwogwa Yangkkochi branches in Busan, and I went to the Nampo one!

• Opening hours: daily 12:00–24:00
• Last order: 22:00
• Regular closing days: Mondays of the 1st and 3rd weeks

They open at midday and stay open until late at night! I went for lunch, hehehe.

I hear that at places like Hai-xxx the bill gets really big these days... but at Sacheon Hwogwa Yangkkochi Nampo Branch, the hot pot and lamb skewer buffet is a mere ₩24,900!! It wins big on price, and if the taste is good too, I'm a regular for sure 👏.

Is Sacheon Hwogwa Yangkkochi Nampo Branch spacious?

Seating goes far back inside, so it's roomy and comfortable. From the entrance I wondered if there were hardly any seats, but once I walked in there were tons of them! It's so spacious that you can eat in comfort and without rushing~!

Huge, right?! Every table has a grill for lamb skewers and an induction burner. It's so big that it looks good for group gatherings too.

I went on a weekday lunch and there were quite a few people! I bet it's packed in the evening and on weekends. Lamb skewers and hot pot are perfect with a beer in the evening anyway, haha. A great way to end the day 🫶.

Water, alcohol and drinks are all self-serve! When I eat hot pot and lamb skewers I ALWAYS get binghongcha (iced black tea). It's a must, I'm telling you ㅠㅠㅠ The food is a bit greasy, so a glass of iced tea in the middle sends it all down and refreshes you. Ready to start over~ 🩷

If you go in the evening, having it with a beer would be pure happiness, wouldn't it...!

Menu, broth and spice level options at Sacheon Hwogwa Yangkkochi

You can do the all-you-can-eat even as a solo diner, and they give big discounts for children and teens, lol. If you go half-and-half with the hot pot, you can choose from white broth, red broth and tomato broth.

I always go with white + red broth! I chose spice level 1. They say level 1 is about like Shin Ramyun, and it was just right. The table behind me ordered level 3, wow ㄷㄷ.

There's an environmental fee if you leave food, so only take what you can eat~~🫶

What's on the self-bar at Sacheon Hwogwa Yangkkochi Nampo Branch?

At the self-bar you can pick up sauces, lamb skewers and other skewers, and hot pot ingredients! There was fried rice too.

There's plain lamb skewer and marinated lamb skewer, and the marinated one hit my taste exactly…💕 Grilling garlic and eating it together was delicious too! The pork rind was soft and chewy, haha. I was too full to try things like chicken wings or pork belly, which was a shame 💦 I'll definitely get them next time.

Beef or lamb, whichever you like~! I'm team beef, haha. It was so tender and delicious.

There's pork too! And lots of rice cakes and meatballs.

There's plenty of seafood too, and once again, ₩24,900 feels like an amazing deal.

Cute pandas are gathered here too, hehehe.

Recommended hot pot dipping sauce: the Geonhui sauce combo

At the sauce bar of Sacheon Hwogwa Yangkkochi Nampo Branch, I ALWAYS make Geonhui sauce (건희소스) ❤️. I've eaten it so often that I've memorized the whole recipe.. hahahaha

• Peanut sauce 1
• Chili sauce 2.5
• Minced garlic 0.5
• Chopped green onion
• Chili oil 1 tsp
• Ground peanuts 1 tsp

Besides Geonhui sauce, other recommended sauces are written up there, so try copying them! With hot pot, the sauce is honestly the most important thing, hahaha..

How were the hot pot and lamb skewers at Sacheon Hwogwa Yangkkochi?

I loaded up on vegetables and meat from the self-bar~!

The look of it is amazing~! Looks so delicious 👏👏

Hot pot never lets you down! It was so good, haha. The red broth's spice was just right and the white broth was clean and tasty. Dunk everything deep in the sauce~~

I grilled the lamb skewers and garlic, rolling them around.

A table full to the brim.. and you know the binghongcha is a must, right? The lamb skewers dipped in zira (cumin) sauce were totally delicious too. There's no gamey lamb smell, so anyone can eat them without hesitation.

If you're looking for a great hot pot or lamb skewer place in Nampo-dong, I strongly recommend Sacheon Hwogwa Yangkkochi Nampo Branch!!! You can eat until you burst for a great price, haha. I'll probably go again soon.
