What is CORR, the Sajik-dong café that first made baseball bread?

CORR is a dessert café in Sajik-dong, Dongnae-gu, Busan, near Sajik Stadium. It's said to be the first place in Sajik-dong to make baseball-shaped bread.

Sajik-dong has so many great restaurants and cafés. Among them I visited CORR, a dessert café famous for its treats. Even without a review event, it had over 1,000 reviews. Places with 1,000+ reviews are usually places people were satisfied with, so I trusted that and went.

Where to park at CORR: the lot behind the building

What was really great is that CORR has its own parking lot behind the building! Sajik-dong has so many good restaurants I'd like to visit often, but since it's a bit far from my place I have to drive, and parking is always the problem — having CORR's own lot made me so happy ㅠㅠ~

Is there a wait at CORR on a weekday afternoon?

CORR is a dessert café with the wood tones I love, huge open windows, and cozy lighting (my taste is really consistent, isn't it, whenever I see places like this). I went on a late weekday afternoon and was glad I could sit down right away with no waiting.

One of CORR's strengths is that the tables are wide and every chair is comfortable~ (I avoid places with uncomfortable chairs, and even if I end up somewhere by accident, I usually don't go back)

CORR menu and prices: financiers, iced latte, iced americano

Since this place is famous for its financiers, I ordered coffee that wasn't sweet. Iced latte ₩5,300, iced americano ₩4,300. The staff member working there was kind too. The interior, the chairs, the friendliness — CORR checked every one of my boxes haha,,

There were more varieties than I expected. The butter bar is also famous and I wanted to try it, but since I wanted to taste multiple financiers, I decided to save the butter bar for next time!

After much deliberation I picked the fig financier ₩3,500, salt & caramel financier ₩3,300, and Earl Grey financier ₩3,200.

CORR's two private rooms for gatherings and studying

CORR is on the 1st floor, and it was bigger than I expected. There are also 2 rooms where you can privately hold a gathering, small meeting, or study session.

One side has no window but is cozy and good for focusing,

and the other room has a full glass window so the light is great and it feels clean. There are curtains so it doesn't feel too exposed, and the glass table and chair concept feels luxurious.

Best seats at CORR for sitting with a baby

CORR had a lot of plants, and that tree didn't feel out of place even in summer — it looked very natural haha. Especially by the window, the chairs were wide and plush, so sitting there worked well even with a baby.

CORR also has cheesecake, bottled drinks, and bottled beer.

There was even the nostalgic, popular dujjonkoo.

Fig, salt & caramel, Earl Grey: which CORR financier tastes best?

What style of financier do you like? I like it when the edges are baked well done, a little hard with a crunchy texture, like CORR's financiers — I love cookie-type textures haha

I liked the size of the coffee cup too, since I need to drink a lot of coffee haha. And isn't the little knife for cutting the financier so cute? It felt like playing house~ Cutting up the financiers was genuinely fun.

The Earl Grey financier had such a deep aroma. The fig one was sweet and chewy, baked just right, and this place's salt & caramel financier was really delicious. I'm glad I chose an unsweetened coffee and tried several financiers instead. I heard this café is even more popular because of how close it is to Sajik Stadium — CORR was a comfortable dessert spot to visit in Sajik-dong!
