Bocado Butter Seongsu Main Store: location and hours

Bocado Butter Seongsu Main Store is at 11 Yeonmujang 7ga-gil, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, on the 1st floor, a 5-minute walk from Seongsu Station Exit 4. It's open daily from 10:20 to 20:00. There's no dedicated parking, so you'll need a nearby paid lot.

Today I stopped by a café that's a must on a Seongsu outing or a Seoulsup date.

This is Bocado Butter Seongsu Main Store, a standalone shop you can only find in Seongsu! "Bocado" is Spanish for "a bite." As the name suggests, one bite is meant to leave an unforgettable impression, and I went to try a truly special, tasty dessert.

It's easy to reach on foot from Ttukseom Station, Seongsu Station or Seoulsup Station, so access is great. The storefront is cute, with a warm yellow glow, and I was in a good mood from the entrance.

What's the atmosphere like at Bocado Butter Seongsu Main Store?

It's a charming café styled with yellow accents and teddy bear décor. It's kept neat and clean, so it suits a date or a chat with friends.

The display shelves are neatly set with carefully prepared bocado desserts and all kinds of creams, so browsing was fun in itself. The shop is well kept, which makes it a nice place for a date or a chat with a friend.

The whole place feels tidy yet unique, so it's really pretty for photos.

On one side there's a dedicated sink for washing your hands, which was really handy before and after eating dessert! Right next to it is a lovely full-length mirror photo spot, a perfect place for a mirror selfie.

Bocado Butter coffee set price and what I ordered

I ordered the 8-piece bocado + coffee set (₩10,000) and added butter caramel cream (₩1,500). For the drink, I chose an iced café latte.

My main order was Bocado Butter's signature dessert, the "bocado"! Eight pieces plus a cold latte for ₩10,000 on Seongsu's café street is a great value, a really satisfying set!

What kind of dessert is bocado?

True to its Spanish meaning of "a bite," the bocado has layers like a waffle or pastry and is so crispy you hear a "crunch!" when you bite in. It's said to be Bocado Butter's own original premium dessert.

One bite gives you the textbook crispy-outside, moist-inside experience! I added the "butter caramel cream" to dip it in.

How was the bocado + butter caramel cream + iced café latte combo?

Crispy bocado topped with butter caramel cream and an iced café latte on the side was a perfect pairing, with sweetness and nuttiness in balance. The latte neatly cut through the sweet dessert.

To go with the crispy bocado and sweet, rich butter caramel cream, I picked an "iced café latte"! The nutty, cold latte cleaned up the sweet crunch nicely.

Piling the thick, sweet butter caramel cream generously onto the crispy bocado made a rich, sweet flavor burst in my mouth. I couldn't help exclaiming!

The waffle-crisp signature "bocado" with thick "butter caramel cream" and a cold, nutty "iced café latte" was a truly perfect pairing!
