After a meal with my husband one weekend, we went looking for a pretty café with a nice atmosphere and ended up at Small Town Coffee in Baebang.

Is parking easy at Small Town Coffee?

There's a large parking area right beside the café building, so parking was easy. The exterior alone gave off a clean, stylish café vibe.

Small Town Coffee menu and what we ordered

The menu was varied: coffee, tea, ades, plus desserts and brunch. For drinks we ordered an Americano and the signature Malta Coffee,

and for dessert, lemon cake and a bachike (Basque cheesecake, as Koreans call it for short).

Indoor and outdoor atmosphere

Inside there were lots of tables and it felt comfortable. The atmosphere was lovely, and with soft music playing it felt like I'd come to relax and recharge.

Outside there's also an outdoor table area. A maple tree stands in the middle, which made it feel even more charming.

The cakes and drinks we ordered came out quickly.

What does the signature Malta Coffee taste like?

The Malta Coffee was mellow and nutty! They say the signature Malta Coffee is made with milk they make themselves, and maybe that's why it smelled great and had a mellow, rich flavor.

Moist, sweet lemon cake

We tried the lemon cake too. It's pound-cake style with a subtle lemon scent, moist and sweet. Absolutely delicious, honestly.

Eaten together with the signature Malta Coffee, the two go even better together.

Basque cheesecake that melted in my mouth

And here it is, the Basque cheesecake I'd been waiting for. My husband had been saying for a few days that he wanted a soft, moist cheesecake, and Small Town's bachike really was soft.

The outside was baked to an appetizing finish, and the inside was moist and creamy, so it practically melted in my mouth.

Officially a cheesecake hotspot!!!

Is it a cheesecake café worth recommending in Baebang?

I'd heard there was a lovely café in Baebang, so this was my first visit to Small Town Coffee, and I was really happy with it. I especially recommend the desserts and cakes.
