Yeongjong bakery café garden terrace and salt bagels: Pink Wall Cafe

In short

Pink Wall Cafe is a bakery café in Yeongjong, Incheon, where I stopped with my child after a meal in Eulwang-ri. We had Shine Muscat cake, an iced Americano, and a salt bagel; I liked the bagel’s chewy texture, but the strong sun kept us from enjoying the garden-style terrace for long.

After eating in Eulwang-ri, I stopped by Pink Wall Cafe (핑크월카페) with my child. Its pink building stood out even from a distance, and there was plenty to look around at, including a garden-style terrace and house-made bagels. At first, I planned to have only the Shine Muscat cake my child likes, but I added a salt bagel too.

Where is Pink Wall Cafe, and is parking convenient?

The address is 111 Yongyuseo-ro, Building 2, Yeongjong-gu, Incheon, South Korea. The original post lists hours as 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM, with last orders at 8:00 PM. Hours may change, so it would be best to check Naver Place before visiting.

You can park in spaces in front of and behind the café. Since we came by car, being able to park right by the café was convenient for visiting with a child.

What was the garden-style outdoor terrace like with a child?

The entire building was pink, so I immediately understood the name Pink Wall. It had an atmosphere suited to taking photos, but the outdoor garden terrace caught my eye more than the building itself.

The terrace was arranged like a garden, and outside there was water for my child to look at. If the weather had been cool, it would have been nice to walk around with my child for a while and sit back comfortably.

However, the sun was strong and it was hot on the day we visited. Some people were sitting outside, but I could not imagine staying long. My husband followed our child around outside, and I was disappointed that we could not enjoy the garden fully.

Which bakery items and drinks did we order?

There were various bakery items in addition to drinks and cake. I was curious about the bagels, which the café says it makes itself.

At first, I was going to choose only a cake with Shine Muscat grapes, which my child likes. After looking around the bakery selection, I decided to try a salt bagel as well.

In the end, we ordered one each of Shine Muscat cake, an iced Americano, and a salt bagel.

That day, bread appeared to count as one menu item for the one-order-per-person requirement. I thought that would be welcome for someone who wanted bread instead of a drink, although I did not confirm the exact ordering policy.

How were the Shine Muscat cake and salt bagel?

I chose the Shine Muscat cake because it contained fruit my child likes. My criterion for dessert that day was something my child could eat, and it was a fine choice to share.

My husband and I had different opinions on the salt bagel we added. My husband said it felt more like a salt bread than a bagel.

I enjoyed it because it retained a springy, chewy texture. It felt different from a very firm, dense bagel, so I think preferences will vary depending on the texture you expect.

What kind of day would I choose for another visit?

The garden-style outdoor terrace was the space I remembered most. The pink building stood out, and the salt bagel suited my taste, but I was most disappointed that I could not spend enough time in the garden.

Next time, I would like to return on a cooler day with less intense sun. I thought it would be nice to sit in the garden in spring or fall with coffee, look at the water with my child, and have another bagel.
