Hi everyone! Today I'm introducing Mini Male Coffee Roaster Yeoksam Branch, located very close to Yeoksam Station. Right in the heart of the Gangnam office district, Yeoksam Branch blends Nordic sensibility with mid-century modern style — apparently the brand gathered inspiration from café tours around the world to bring together good coffee and sophisticated design, and this is their fourth directly-run store. Let's get into it!

Inside Mini Male: window-wall seats or the quieter inner seats?

Mini Male Yeoksam Branch is on the smaller side, but the space is well divided, and the interior has a clean, calm, urban feel — a really good café to sit quietly or work in.

I found it really impressive that the window seats and inner seats are separated haha.

There are outlets scattered between the seats, so it's really good for bringing a laptop and working!

Kiosk or QR ordering at Mini Male Yeoksam?

Mini Male Yeoksam Branch has a kiosk so you can take your time picking your menu, but if the kiosk line is long, you can also order by QR code, which was great for ordering without waiting haha.

The signature Helsinki latte is Mini Male's own recreation of the best latte the founder encountered while traveling in Helsinki, Finland — described as their flagship menu with rich milk flavor and no bitterness, sweetness level 1.5 out of 5. I really don't like sweet drinks, but I dislike bitter ones even more, and this Helsinki latte was genuinely nutty and smooth with no bitterness at all, so I drank it up fast haha.

The matcha ice cream latte is apparently made with premium matcha ice cream and 100% matcha extract from Boseong. Every single menu item comes with a detailed description, which made it easy to choose ^^

Even the desserts at Mini Male Coffee Roaster are so good — the milk cream cake has a soft, moist texture ♡

Cutting into the homemade butter bar caramel

Alright, time for the homemade butter bar cutting ceremony.

My friend wasn't cutting it well so I got frustrated and grabbed it to cut it myself — made with rich caramel, this homemade butter bar had a deep flavor and dense texture, chewy and sweet, exactly the kind of sugar rush you need.

It was so funny going back to cut it again for photos lol. Honestly that knife is a cake knife and you're supposed to just eat the butter bar casually, but the determination to somehow eat it elegantly... I was cracking up by myself while taking photos lol.

Why this Yeoksam Station café looks better at night

I'd heard Mini Male Yeoksam Branch is prettier at night than during the day, so I visited late in the evening, and the soft, moody lighting definitely gave it atmosphere. Apparently it's known as a good café for dates around the Yeoksam area, and I can kind of see why lol.

Every little detail, from the props to the menu descriptions, was clearly put together with care, and I ended up sitting comfortably for a long time chatting away while enjoying the coffee and dessert, each with its own story, in the calm interior ^^
