Garosu-gil diner-style brunch with unlimited coffee: Nora's Sinsa
In short
Nora's Sinsa is an American diner-style brunch restaurant tucked into the back streets of Garosu-gil near Sinsa Station in Gangnam, Seoul. With a reservation there was no wait, and the meal came with unlimited rye bread and hand-drip coffee refills alongside a bacon Caesar salad (15,900 won), homemade meat lasagna (25,900 won) and melting cranberry French toast (16,500 won). The seasoning at Nora's Sinsa runs a little strong, but the atmosphere and food were both satisfying, and the lasagna was the best dish.

While looking for a good restaurant near Sinsa Station, I visited Nora's, which is famous for its great atmosphere. It's tucked inside Garosu-gil, so it's perfect to stop by while shopping, and it's close enough to Apgujeong to work as a date spot too. I made a reservation, so I got in right away with no wait.

Nora's Sinsa location — how far from Sinsa Station?
Nora's is an easy walk from Sinsa Station. It's close to the main Garosu-gil street, so it's great to pair with a café or shopping afterward. It's also walkable from Apgujeong, so I'd recommend it to anyone hunting for good restaurants in that area too.

What's the vibe like? Half Europe, half American diner
The inside of Nora's Sinsa really felt like being in Europe — my partner kept saying it looked like a pizza place over there, haha. The interior was super clean too, and the tables were spaced far apart, which made it feel really comfortable.

There are also seats on the outdoor terrace, so on nice days you can sit outside. Nora's also offers valet parking.
Menu, QR ordering, and table setup at Nora's Sinsa
The menu at Nora's Sinsa is mostly brunch dishes — salads, lasagna, soup, burgers, and the like — and you order by scanning a QR code at the table! Such a convenient world we live in, haha.

Every table has ketchup, hot sauce, salt, pepper, sugar, wet wipes, and napkins set out. Since I'd made a reservation, the small plates, spoon, fork, and knife were already set at my seat. The space felt exactly like a diner straight out of an American movie, so it was great for photos too. The green water bottles and vintage little objects on each table added to the mood.

Unlimited rye bread and hand-drip coffee refills
And at Nora's, rye bread is served unlimited ❤️ You can also help yourself freely to butter and strawberry jam. The sliced rye bread gets warmed up fresh right before you take it.
Here's the freshly toasted rye bread with strawberry jam and butter. I refilled it twice.

And if you order hand-drip coffee, it's free refills. Coffee is basically a must at a brunch place, right!? If you love coffee, the unlimited bread and coffee combo will make you really happy. I'd already had coffee that morning, so I just stuck with the rye bread — but it was freshly baked and genuinely delicious.

There's also a hand-washing area off to one side.
Bacon Caesar Salad — ₩15,900
Nora's Sinsa's bacon caesar salad is ₩15,900. It's loaded with bacon, a soft-boiled egg, tomatoes, and olives, so it's light but still filling. The sauce seemed to be (?) a ranch-style dressing — a bit mayo-ish.

It paired well with the rye bread, and also went nicely alongside the lasagna. And the egg was cooked soft-boiled, which made me so happy 😻

The salad is already seasoned, so eating it with the rye bread is seriously delicious...
Homemade Meat Lasagna — ₩25,900

The dish I was happiest with at Nora's Sinsa was the ₩25,900 homemade meat lasagna. The rich meat sauce and cheese were layered thick, making it feel really substantial, and eating it with the arugula cut through the richness so I could enjoy it all the way to the end. I totally understood why it comes so highly recommended near Sinsa Station!!

There's a generous amount of arugula and cheese piled on top of the lasagna, which gave it great flavor. They also layered cheese between the lasagna and the arugula, so that nutty cheese flavor kept coming through.

My partner dipped the rusk that came with the salad right into the lasagna sauce. It's delicious eaten that way too, so give it a try!
Melting Cranberry French Toast — ₩16,500

The melting cranberry French toast is ₩16,500 — French toast piled generously with cream and cranberries. It was great to enjoy like a dessert after the meal, and I'd recommend it to anyone who likes sweet flavors.

They stack the French toast in two layers like this and top it with a sweet cranberry sauce. So you get that sweetness from the very first bite to the last.
Nora's Sinsa — the honest verdict
Another successful food trip complete!! Overall the food was delicious, but the seasoning ran a bit strong. If you usually can't handle salty or sweet food well, keep that in mind.
If you're looking for a good restaurant near Sinsa Station, this place delivered on both atmosphere and food. You can really feel that American diner mood, and true to a Garosu-gil spot, it suited a date or a blind date nicely. It's also close to Apgujeong, so it's convenient to combine with a visit there — and I'd especially recommend ordering the homemade meat lasagna. If you're looking for a nice-atmosphere restaurant in Garosu-gil, or a good spot near Sinsa Station or Apgujeong, Nora's is more than satisfying.
