Today I'm introducing Something About Coffee, a place I found while looking for a nice-vibe café between Sinnonhyeon Station and Gangnam Station! You can enjoy great coffee and dessert together, so I'd strongly recommend it if you're looking for a café near Sinnonhyeon or Gangnam Station. The atmosphere is sweet and cozy, so it'd also work really well as a blind-date spot near Gangnam Station haha.

Something About Coffee is at 30 Gangnam-daero 102-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, spanning the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors. It's open daily from 11:00 to 22:30, with seating available until 22:00.

It's really easy to get to, close to Sinnonhyeon Station~

They use the entire three-story building, so it's very spacious and open~

The full glass windows give it a cool, stylish look right from the outside, which naturally pulled me in~

If you're looking for a meeting spot around Gangnam or Sinnonhyeon Station, this makes for a great café choice.

There are lush green trees out front that add a refreshing touch

The hojicha choux milk tea seems to be a signature menu item~ It looked so tempting that my husband had already decided on his order before we even walked in haha

Walking inside, the warm, cozy atmosphere really stood out.

The space is divided by floor, so it feels calm for conversation and would be great for a date too~

Ordering and the main floor are on the 2nd floor, so let's head up~

As soon as you go up the stairs, you can order drinks and desserts~

With the high ceilings and soft chandelier lighting, it's the perfect café for a blind date or date near Gangnam Station haha

The building itself is big, so the 2nd floor also has a ton of tables~

It's not too loud or crowded, so I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a blind-date café near Gangnam Station

Along with 2- and 4-person tables, there are also long tables, so it's great for group gatherings too~ It's such a nice atmosphere to sit together chatting over coffee and dessert

Honestly, Something About Coffee's biggest appeal is the handmade desserts made with top-quality ingredients~

The desserts lined up in the showcase were so tempting just to look at

There's a great variety — cakes, sandos, financiers, cookies — so I'd especially recommend it to dessert lovers looking for a café near Gangnam Station!

The fruit sando and peach sando, packed with fresh cream and generous chunks of fruit, look sweet enough to eat just by looking at them

Wow, beyond the showcase, the dessert table is dazzling too~ Scones, egg tarts, handmade cookies, donuts

They basically have every kind of baked good haha

How the hojicha choux milk tea and black sesame cream latte taste

Aah~ our order was so pretty I took a hundred photos! Especially the fig black sesame cake — it looked so soft and rich, the visual is unreal ㅠ

Let's try the hojicha choux milk tea first~

On top there's a heavy dose of deep, roasty hojicha flavor, with a crisp choux gently placed on it~

And below, it's filled generously with smooth milk tea~

The chilled baby choux pairs so well with the hojicha cream~

When I picked up the choux, it felt satisfyingly dense~ My husband and I shared it happily haha

Next is the black sesame cream latte I ordered~!

The nutty flavor of the black sesame blends beautifully with the smooth cream.

It was sweet yet nutty, so it was great to drink alongside dessert. It wasn't too sweet, which made it perfect to pair with the cake~!

The rich, soft cheesecake combined with the nuttiness of black sesame was really delicious~

And right on top, there's fig jam and fresh fig~

There's almost no sponge layer — it's mostly black sesame cream and cheese, giving it a really tasty nutty, light richness~

If you love black sesame, come running~~ haha

It's fig season right now, so the sweetness bursts with a nice tang~

The combination of black sesame cream and fig is dessert-heaven flavor~
