Naebang Station beef BBQ: marinated rib-finger meat at Seonhwa's Meat

Today I'm sharing my visit to Seonhwa's Meat, a famous beef restaurant in Bangbae. A lot of you are probably looking for a good meat place near Naebang Station, right? I'd already been once with my wife and it passed our test, and I got a good chance to go back again! I'll cover menu picks, prices, parking and more.

Where is Seonhwa's Meat Bangbae Main Branch, and how is parking?

Seonhwa's Meat Bangbae Main Branch is near Naebang Station, with parking for up to four cars in front. It also has a room in the back, which makes it a rare room-style restaurant around Naebang Station.

If you're looking for a beef place in Bangbae, I think driving is fine! There aren't many spots, though, so definitely call ahead!

Exterior and interior: is it good for group dinners?

The exterior looks clean and neat! The owner's name is Seonhwa, haha. Doesn't a restaurant that puts its owner's name on the door just feel trustworthy? 👍🏻 With four parking spots out front, this is your place if you want Korean BBQ with parking near Naebang Station!

Inside, there are plenty of roomy tables, and there's a big table in the back room too. If you're looking for a group dinner spot near Naebang Station, I recommend Seonhwa's Meat.

I had made a reservation, and look at this lovely welcome message! The staff were super kind and friendly, and you could feel the owner going from table to table to look after everyone. I really love details like this.

Seonhwa's Meat menu and prices

Seonhwa's Meat has the Blue Ribbon-awarded Emperor Marinated Nabisal (marinated beef flap meat), and the Uroun set, a combo of kimchi stew, steamed egg, beef tartare and mushrooms, is a popular item at only ₩15,000! Even among the meat restaurants around Naebang Station, the lineup is really generous and the prices are reasonable, haha. I fully recognize it as a great-value beef place in Bangbae.

What we ordered this time: marinated rib-finger meat, Uroun set, bibim naengmyeon

This time we ordered the marinated rib-finger meat (yangnyeom neukgan galbi-sal), the Uroun set, and bibim naengmyeon (spicy cold noodles)!

They started by laying out a spread of tasty side dishes.

How is the marinated rib-finger meat?

On my wife's recommendation, we ordered the marinated rib-finger meat first. The marinade has soaked right into the beef rib, and the seasoning is perfectly balanced.. sweet-salty-sweet-salty in every bite! Honestly, it's the best marinated beef rib I've had lately.

The side dishes are all good too, but the rib marinade is so great that I added a bowl of rice, put the meat on top of the white rice and wiped it out in no time. Ahh..

The ₩15,000 Uroun set: kimchi stew, steamed egg, beef tartare, mushrooms

The kimchi stew in the Uroun set has crazy umami! I think the kimchi itself is just delicious. The deep flavor of stew made with aged kimchi.. a familiar taste is a scary thing, haha.

The steamed egg is nicely salty and silky soft.

The tartare seasoning tastes better than basic, and the crunch and aroma of the minari (water dropwort) are the highlight 🩷

The pine mushrooms are perfect grilled until juicy.

Rib and bibim naengmyeon together

You know bibim naengmyeon with galbi is a dream combo. As you'd expect from a Bangbae beef spot, every pairing at Seonhwa's Meat goes together really well.

What dessert does Seonhwa's Meat serve?

⭐️ When I joined the Naver review event, dessert came out: a taiyaki (fish-shaped pastry) ice cream sandwich, a Choco Pie, and raspberry-propolis tea. I thought my belly would burst. A meat place near Naebang Station where you can't leave until you've finished everything.. but it was so tasty that I cleaned it all up, what a pig, haha.

Verdict: what should you order at Seonhwa's Meat?

At Seonhwa's Meat, definitely order the marinated rib-finger meat, and add the Uroun set to get a variety of sides for ₩15,000. Overall, both the staff and the owner keep a close eye on every table, totally professional!

From the side dishes to the meat to dessert, everything was delicious, so I gave the server a thumbs up, and the owner told me he puts a lot of care into the taste of the food and how the side dishes go together.
