Bakery café near Paju outlets on Sunday: Big Brunch tips, Brick Rouge

In short

Brick Rouge is a large red-brick bakery brunch café on Jimok-ro in Paju, Gyeonggi, just behind the Paju outlets. The writer visited Brick Rouge around 2 PM on a Sunday, looked at the different spaces on each floor and the large parking lot, and shared tips for ordering the generous Big Brunch together with bread. Brick Rouge stays busy all weekend, so go a little early, and for two people, one Big Brunch plus one or two breads is the way to order.

Want a meal and a café in one stop near the Paju outlets?

Brick Rouge is a large café behind the Paju outlets, and the big plus is that you can have brunch and café time in one place! If you eat brunch and then move to another café, time gets tight, and just eating bread can feel a little unsatisfying. That's when Brick Rouge, a Paju brunch café, is a great place to stop by.

Brunch and café near the Paju outlets: Brick Rouge

Brick Rouge is a large bakery café on Jimok-ro in Paju, and since you can enjoy brunch and bakery in one place, it fits well into a Paju drive. The red-brick exterior catches your eye right away.

What's the inside of this Paju bakery café like?

Step inside Brick Rouge and it's packed with all kinds of bread and desserts, and the high ceiling and sheer size grab your attention first.

It's a nice place to drop in lightly for coffee and bread, and also to have a hearty meal from the brunch menu~

You don't have to hunt for a café and a restaurant separately, so Brick Rouge slots perfectly into a Paju day out.

Seating, parking and kid-friendly extras at this large Paju café

The charm of Brick Rouge is that it's spacious, each floor has a different space, and with several floors you can pick a seat to your taste, like a window seat or a comfy seat.

If you're visiting with a child, the floor-seating area and child-friendly facilities are another good point! And the parking lot was really big too!!

Is Brick Rouge crowded on weekends? A Sunday 2 PM visit

I figure Brick Rouge can get packed on weekends and at mealtimes~ I went around 2 on a Sunday, and people kept coming in, so it felt like on weekends the customers never stop?

If you want to look around at your own pace, it's better to visit a little earlier~ (The good seats were already almost gone, haha)

Brick Rouge Big Brunch: tips for ordering bread too

If you plan to pick a brunch menu and add bread at Brick Rouge, think about the portion size first. The brunch is filling, so if you pick several breads you might leave some. It really comes out hearty~

If there are two of you, I recommend sharing one brunch and adding one or two bakery items you want to try. When you want to taste a bit of everything, definitely do it the way I described above!

The Big Brunch really is big, haha. On the flip side, if bread and coffee matter more to you than a meal, pick the breads you want from the display and take your time~ A big café isn't "just a place that sells coffee and bread."

A break after shopping at Publishing City and Lotte Premium Outlets

Brick Rouge has options from brunch to bakery, so it's good whenever you visit!!! If you're looking for a place to rest after wandering around Paju Book City (the publishing district) or Lotte Premium Outlets, stop by Brick Rouge too~

Shopping hard wears you out, right~ It's close but slightly off the main drag, so you can rest, and refill your stomach and bring your sugar back up after all that shopping~ haha

With brunch followed by bread and coffee, your weekend outing will feel much more relaxed. On a day when you want a meal and a café in one go in Paju, I do recommend considering Brick Rouge~

Brick Rouge hours and last order in Paju

Brick Rouge is open every day from 9 AM to 10 PM~ Last order for food is 8:30 PM, and orders for drinks and bakery close at 9 PM. Please check before you visit~!!! Since it opens at 9 AM, it's also a good stop on days when you want a breakfast-meets-brunch in Paju.

To enjoy a meal at Brick Rouge without rushing, I recommend arriving well before food last order. If you come late thinking only of bread and drinks, the item you want may be sold out, so deciding first whether you want brunch or bakery makes ordering easier. On weekends, why not time your visit to fit the rest of your outing plans~??
