Haeundae Station bar for slushy soju and bibim guksu: Namcheonjip
In short
Namcheonjip is a samhap (octopus, skate and boiled pork) bar on Jungdong 2-ro in Haeundae, Busan. Two friends ordered the small boiled pork suyuk for 38,000 won and bibim guksu (spicy mixed noodles) for 6,000 won with slushy, half-frozen soju, and the clean-tasting pork with bossam kimchi and dried radish strips emptied one bottle fast. Namcheonjip has a large private parking lot and plenty of group tables, yet it works just as well for two people sharing one dish and a drink.

Hi, this is Mungi~~~~!
This place gets a ton of Haeundae office workers, and the samhap (three-way combo platters) and oyster bossam are famous, so it's popular for group dinners and gatherings — even the side dishes are clean and delicious. Let me recommend this Busan Haeundae bar!!!!
Namcheonjip, Haeundae is open daily from 16:00 to 24:00.
Where do you park at Namcheonjip?
Namcheonjip has its own private parking lot right in front of the restaurant. The lot is spacious, so lots of groups visit.

Waiting times and how to book a table
You can usually reserve through the Tableing app, but on the day I visited, the device was broken, so I made a reservation by phone instead.
What Namcheonjip looks like on Jungdong 2-ro in Haeundae

I came back with a friend who told me she comes here often for work dinners, and even after a while it was just as clean, plus you can enjoy something different each season. It's a Busan Haeundae bar famous as a samhap specialist — octopus, hongeo (fermented skate), bossam, grilled fish, and more.
First-floor seats and the mood inside Namcheonjip

We got lucky and grabbed the last spot on the 1st floor. Handy detail: the restroom is right next to the 1st-floor entrance. I've never been up to the 2nd floor, but every time I visit, groups are heading up there!
The staff were super friendly, and the neatly arranged table setting was great — and the short wait made it even better.

You can charge your phone on the 1st floor, and the air conditioning is powerful too. There were lots of celebrity autographs on the wall — a trusted, well-loved spot, confirmed as a top Busan Haeundae bar snack destination. The moment I saw Yoon Su-il's signature, I couldn't help but start humming 'Apartment.'
Namcheonjip menu and drink prices

Since they specialize in so many types of samhap, there's a wide range of makgeolli too, plus Andong soju and Ilpum Jinro — something for every taste, which makes Namcheonjip a great Busan Haeundae bar for serious drinkers. It's usually busy with waits, but on rainy days especially, people flock in for makgeolli.

Small suyuk, bibim guksu and slushy soju

The side dishes came out first, and from the japchae to the kimchi, there wasn't a single miss — everything was clean and tasty.

Then the soju arrived, and seeing it come out frozen made me think, ah, this place is legit. It had been forever since I'd seen frozen soju, and after sweating all day in the heat, you know that feeling when it melts slowly on your tongue?

Last time I visited I had the octopus samhap, but today we ordered the small suyuk and bibim guksu. It was the perfect size for two people drinking, and the glossy sheen on the pork was mouthwatering.

They also gave us a variety of wrap greens, so it was fun mixing and matching the pork with the side dishes, and the moment I took a bite I was raving to my friend about how good it was. As important as the bossam itself is the kimchi, and both the kimchi and the pickled radish hit exactly my taste. One bottle of soju gone in no time.

The well-boiled pork had absolutely no unpleasant smell, and the ratio of savory lean meat to fat was just right. I also love napa cabbage among the wrap greens, and it was naturally sweet even eaten plain.

My friend and I both like our food on the stronger, saltier side, so we asked for a little extra sauce. Since it's thin noodles, I'd recommend eating them before they go soft — a Busan Haeundae favorite for sure.

Pork and noodles naturally go well together, and since this was bibim guksu, it was even better rolled up together with the meat — a great combination. If you're visiting Haeundae, Busan, the samhap platters are wonderful, but I'd also strongly recommend Namcheonjip for simply enjoying suyuk with a glass of soju!
Is Namcheonjip worth a visit in Haeundae?
- A tidy, cozy hanok-style interior, perfect for chatting over a glass of soju
- A perfect combination of moist, smell-free suyuk and savory bossam kimchi
- A generous spread even down to the clean, flavorful basic side dishes, making you feel well taken care of
- Highly recommended if you're looking for an atmospheric Korean bar or a can't-miss bossam spot in Haeundae
