Haeundae bakery café takeout when every seat was full: Low & Sweet

In short

Low & Sweet Bakery is a bakery café on Haeri-dan-gil in Haeundae, Busan, 244 meters from Exit 4 of Haeundae Station. Every seat was taken on this visit, so we took an egg tart, salt bread, a chocolate financier and an americano to go, and the two kids polished off the salt bread and croissant in minutes. With free milk for children and free parking out front, Low & Sweet Bakery is an easy stop for families.

Today I'm bringing you the story of the Haeundae café I've been stopping by most often lately! I was walking past near Haeundae Station and got pulled in like magic when I saw freshly baked croissants and egg tarts lined up through the window — and I've been a regular ever since haha. This is the place where I went to buy a snack for my kids and ended up picking out three things just for myself: Low & Sweet Bakery!

Where is Low & Sweet Bakery, and what are the hours and parking?

🏠 Address: 1st floor, 1 Udong 1-ro 38beongil, Haeundae-gu, Busan ⏰ Hours: Daily 08:00–20:00 (last order 19:30) 🅿️ Parking: Free at Low & Sweet's dedicated spots 41 and 42 right in front of the store (if those are full, use the paid public lot near Haeundae Station)

It's only 244 meters from Haeundae Station Exit 4, less than a 5-minute walk, so accessibility is top notch. It's a great stop for anyone looking for Haeri-dan-gil cafés, too. If you're doing a Haeri-dan-gil coffee tour, be sure to add this to your route!

What Low & Sweet Bakery looks like inside and out

Interior design details of the café

I stopped in my tracks looking at the bread display through the floor-to-ceiling glass by the entrance. There are even outdoor benches and stools set up in front, a nice touch for waiting on busy days.

Inside, pendant lights hang moodily over white tile walls, and green-toned glass cups are neatly stacked — there wasn't just one or two spots worth a photo. Among Haeundae bakeries, I'd rank this one near the top for interior design.

It's so popular that the store was already fully seated, so we ended up taking everything to go haha. Next time I'll definitely eat in the store, sniff.

Low & Sweet Bakery menu and prices

The bakery menu really had a huge variety — financiers, madeleines, canelés, cookies, pound cakes, salt bread, croissants, pain au chocolat, blueberry danish, and pistachio swirl. Prices were pretty reasonable too: salt bread and egg tart at ₩3,400, croissant at ₩4,600, pain au chocolat at ₩5,200, canelé at ₩3,600, and pistachio swirl around ₩5,500.

There's a separate coffee menu — today's drip coffee for ₩6,000–8,000, americano at ₩5,500, latte at ₩6,300, vanilla bean latte at ₩6,800. For non-coffee options, there's also homemade lemonade and matcha latte.

It's good to know that milk and vanilla milk are offered free as a kids' menu item if you're visiting with children.

What we ordered: egg tart, salt bread and chocolate financier

I packed an egg tart, salt bread, chocolate financier, and an americano to take home.

The egg tart is a classic Macau-style tart — crispy pastry outside, with those pretty little scorch marks showing on the inside. The custard is really rich but not too sweet, so I kept reaching for another bite. There's a reason this place is known as an egg tart spot near Haeundae Station.

The salt bread is the type where the butter smell bursts out the moment you bite in. I'd heard it kept getting mentioned as a Haeundae salt bread favorite, and after trying it, I had to agree.

The chocolate financier was sweet and rich haha, and pairing it with the americano was an amazing combo.

Why Low & Sweet Bakery works with kids in tow

My kids devoured the salt bread and pieces of croissant I handed them and asked for more. I think I'll have to keep stopping by this Haeundae dessert café often. It was perfect for grabbing lunch nearby and then having some bread and coffee for dessert!

It's an easy route to pick up coffee and sit on the bench to enjoy it, so it also made for a nice walk-and-visit spot.
