Hair loss coverage root perm for mom at Heiro, a Jamsil hair salon
Heiro Jamsil Lotte World is a hair salon in Songpa, Seoul, on basement level 3 by the ice rink in the Lotte World Adventure building, a short walk from Jamsil Station. After a consultation with designer koi, the writer's mother — who had always kept her hair long — got a bob cut with a root perm and magic setting, and koi personally handled every step from removing the self-dye to the final shampoo. The root volume hid the thinning areas well, and styling at home now takes nothing more than a blow-dryer aimed at the roots, which left her mother happy.
