Running knee support with a secure fit: Lifeclue Power Hold

What made me start using it for running?

I got it as a gift for my parents, who enjoy hiking, squats, badminton, running, and other exercise. We had bought and tried several types of knee supports before, and this Lifeclue Power Hold Patella Knee Support was provided to me.

At first, I thought of it for my parents' hiking, but my younger brother said he needed it for football and futsal too, so the whole family ended up wearing it. I use it while running.

How many do you need for both knees?

It is sold as one piece, not a pair. You need to buy two separately to wear one on each knee. Honestly, it felt a little pricey, but since my family can use it together and I was happy with the fit, I thought it was worth buying.

Is it easy to carry in an exercise bag?

It came with a separate case, which made it easy to keep in my exercise bag. There was also a silicone patch-like piece that fits between the knee support, and it gave a nice supportive feeling when worn.

How was the fit with thicker calves?

At first I was flustered because I did not know how to use it, so I checked the video on the product sales page before putting it on. My calves are on the thicker side, and when I first tried it on as it was, the length did not fit, so I worried that I might not be able to use it.

Thankfully, once I fitted it by inserting the silicone piece between the sections, it sat snugly against my leg. It was difficult the first time, but I was happy with how it felt once adjusted and worn.

Does the included sports tape come with instructions?

I also received sports tape with the product. I had taped up before when trekking and doing a cross-country walking challenge, and had personally felt the difference between taping and not taping, so it was a welcome extra.

I also liked that it explained muscle taping and showed how to apply the tape with both illustrations and text.
