Guri lash salon: moisture ampoule perm for unruly lashes, Mippeudang

I got a lash perm at Mippeudang (미쁘당) near Guri Station! I've tried both lash perms and lash extensions at other salons before, and the eye stinging was so uncomfortable T_T But Mippeudang Lash Guri, where I went this time, had absolutely zero stinging! I'm still very happy with it, so here's my lash perm review :)

Where is Mippeudang Lash Guri? Location, hours and parking

Mippeudang Lash Guri is at 249 Gyeongchun-ro, Guri-si, Gyeonggi, in Dongwon Park Building, 3rd floor, Room 305. It's open Mon–Fri 11:00–20:00 and Saturday 11:00–17:00, and closed every Sunday. For parking, you get 30 minutes in the building's mechanical parking lot and 2 hours at Lotte Department Store Guri, and you can book through Naver Booking.

Mippeudang is on the 3rd floor of Dongwon Park Building, a 1-minute walk from Guri Station. There's a Daiso on the 1st floor of the building. Get off the elevator on the 3rd floor, walk straight ahead, and you'll see the Mippeudang Lash entrance.

It's easy to reach by public transport and convenient if you're driving too! The owner runs the salon alone, so reservations are a must! I booked through Naver Booking, and when I arrived at my appointment time, I was shown in right away with no waiting.

What is Mippeudang Lash Guri like inside?

The whole salon is decorated in white tones, and it felt so clean and bright that I relaxed right away! The music playing was calming BGM too, and the little props placed around the space were stylishly done.

There's a vanity where you can quickly tidy your hair, plus several types of chargers, so you can tell they think about customers' convenience!

Mippeudang does waxing as well as lashes, so there's a separate room for waxing and another for lash perms and extensions. The waxing room also has a shower room where you can rinse off quickly.

The lash area has 3 beds, and everything was kept clean and tidy. Hygiene and atmosphere matter a lot at a lash salon, and I was happy with both :)

How does the lash perm consultation at Mippeudang work?

At Mippeudang Lash Guri, you have a short consultation with the owner before the lash perm. She looks at your eye shape, lash length, density and so on, then recommends a style that suits you! She holds a national license and has won lots of awards, and you could feel that expertise even during the consultation.

Unruly lashes before the lash perm

For reference, my lashes shoot out in every direction, and they droop quickly even after I use an eyelash curler. The lashes near the inner corners also fall out easily, so that area was pretty sparse T.T

I don't wear heavy makeup, but curling and tidying my lashes every morning takes forever, right? T_T And it doesn't even last long, which was a hassle.

Black Moisture Ampoule Perm results for unruly lashes

Here's a photo after the lash perm! I went with the Black Moisture Ampoule Perm at Mippeudang, and with the curl lifted and the lashes neatly aligned, my eyes look much more defined. She did the perm based on my eye shape and lash condition, and the curl came out so natural, I love it :)

Does the Mippeudang lash perm really cause no eye stinging?

What the writer liked most about the lash perm at Mippeudang Lash Guri was that there was no stinging. As I mentioned at the start, it was comfortable during the treatment too, and normally your eyes sting for sure on the first day, but on the day of my perm at Mippeudang there was no stinging, and there still hasn't been any, not at all!!

I don't need an eyelash curler every morning anymore, so I save a ton of prep time, and it honestly improved my quality of life haha. If you're looking for a good lash salon in Guri, especially if you've suffered from eye stinging, and you want a salon with no stinging, you might want to visit Mippeudang Guri!
