Over lunch with her husband, the writer ordered Cheongwon budae-jjigae for two with extra glass noodles, received a free egg roll for writing a receipt review, and used the self-serve bar for unlimited rice and ramyeon refills. The broth at Cheongwon is clean and sharply spicy rather than heavy, an easy, familiar meal even after a long gap between visits.
