Why Daily Fix Euljiro before an autumn outing near City Hall Station
I picked Daily Fix Euljiro because it serves handmade burgers and a good range of drinks near Euljiro 1-ga Station (을지로입구역), so it looked fine for a meal or a casual evening drink. A few scenes say "autumn" to me. Samcheong-dong with its golden ginkgo trees is lovely, and I also like walking along the Deoksugung stone-wall path, so on the weekend I headed near City Hall Station with my mom for a date.
But I'm the kind of person who believes a stylish date starts with a full stomach, haha! There are so many good restaurants around Euljiro 1-ga, but that day I wanted a light meal that didn't skimp on flavor. I was craving a rich handmade burger lately, and after some careful searching I found Daily Fix Euljiro. It sells handmade burgers and plenty of alcohol, so it looked good for a meal and for a light drink in the evening too.

Daily Fix Euljiro location, parking and hours
Daily Fix Euljiro is at 24 Namdaemun-ro 9-gil, Jung-gu, Seoul, 1F Units 103 and 104, a 3-minute walk from Exit 1-1 of Euljiro 1-ga Station, so it was easy to reach by public transit. Hours are Mon-Fri 11:00-23:00 (last order 22:00) and Sat-Sun 11:00-22:00 (last order 21:00).
Parking is free for the first 30 minutes, then ₩3,000 per 30 minutes, so check that! It's also a good spot to stop at while out near City Hall Station. If you're planning a date around Deoksugung or City Hall like we were, it's worth fitting into your route. Since we were spending the day out in Seoul, I wanted a place that was easy to eat at and move on from, and Daily Fix Euljiro was an easy stop.
Daily Fix Euljiro atmosphere

The first thing I noticed on arriving was the neon sign. It felt like a casual handmade burger place rather than a typical burger chain, and the vibe suggested it's popular as a pub in the evening too.

Looking over the menu, I saw the shop intro saying the food carries the know-how of chefs from two- and three-star Michelin restaurants in New York, and just seeing the word Michelin made me expect it to taste better, haha. There was also a line saying a celebrity I'd always thought was good at finding great restaurants had vouched for the place, which made me even more curious. I already love handmade burgers, but that day I chose my order wondering how it would taste.
Daily Fix Euljiro menu, prices and what we ordered

Daily Fix Euljiro has handmade burgers and sandwiches, plus sides and a range of alcohol. Here is what my mom and I ordered.
- Bacon cheeseburger ₩12,900
- Patty melt sandwich ₩12,900
- Corn salad ₩4,900
- Zero cola ₩2,900
- Sparkling water ₩2,900
A staff member told us drink refills are available, and since drinks disappear fast when you're eating burgers, I liked that little touch. For the bacon cheeseburger we added fries, and you can choose between regular thin fries and 18mm thick fries. We wanted to taste more of the potato itself, so we went with the thick ones.
What does the smoky sauce corn salad taste like?

The Daily Fix Euljiro corn salad (₩4,900) had a sauce a bit heavier and richer than the usual corn salad, with a smoky flavor. After a short wait the corn salad came out first. The menu described it as corn salad tossed in a rich American-style smoky sauce, and the moment I read that I ordered it as if in a trance, haha.
Since I was little, I always ordered the corn salad whenever I went to Lotteria (a Korean burger chain). Even now, if I see corn salad with a burger I'm happy and order it, and Daily Fix's version, with that extra smoky flavor, was totally my style. It worked as an appetizer before the mains and was a satisfying side with the burger too.
Bacon cheeseburger: is it a heavy American-style burger?

The Daily Fix Euljiro bacon cheeseburger (₩12,900) was less a heavy American-style burger and more one where patty, bacon and onion come together for varied textures. Finally, the main dish of the day! It was a handmade burger that looked delicious on sight, and the patty, bacon and onion between the buns looked appetizing from the start.
The first thing I noticed was the bun. I pressed the top lightly with a fork and could feel a chewy texture right away, so I was looking forward to the bread.

To be honest, that day I'd expected a rich American-style burger with heavy cheese and meat flavor, but once I took a bite it had a slightly different charm from what I'd imagined.

It wasn't a burger hitting you with a wave of rich meat and cheese, but one where several ingredients like patty, bacon and onion come together to make varied textures. If you want a heavy American-style burger, another menu item may suit you better, but if you're looking for a handmade burger you can enjoy a bit more lightly, it's a good choice.

18mm thick fries
I can't skip the Daily Fix 18mm fries we added to the bacon cheeseburger. They were clearly different in thickness from the thin fries I usually eat, and they looked like something people who love a mouthful would enjoy.

Biting in, I felt the fluffy potato inside behind the outer texture. Rather than simply crispy fries, you can fully enjoy the taste of the potato itself, which I personally liked. If you like potatoes, how could you not love thick fries like these, haha. Next time I'd order the 18mm fries again.
How was the patty melt sandwich my mom chose?

The Daily Fix Euljiro patty melt sandwich (₩12,900) has patty, cheese and onion between slices of rye bread instead of a round burger bun. My mom ordered it, and it looked different from an ordinary burger right from the start.

The first thing I noticed on the first bite was the crispy bread. Then came the savory taste of the patty and melted cheese, plus a flavor from onions that seemed caramelized, and it was more filling than I expected.

Eating the patty melt after the bacon cheeseburger, the texture in my mouth was completely different. I got to alternate between the chewy burger bun and the crispy sandwich bread, and I was glad we ordered both.

With cheese and meat inside it was plenty filling, but to my taste it felt a bit milder than the bacon cheeseburger. If you usually prefer sandwiches to burgers or like crispy bread, I'd recommend the patty melt too. I first thought we'd each just eat our own, but we ended up sharing and comparing, which was fun, haha.
Was Daily Fix Euljiro a good meal for a City Hall Station outing?
With the bacon cheeseburger, patty melt sandwich, corn salad and 18mm fries, Daily Fix Euljiro made a very satisfying meal. That day was an autumn date with my mom near City Hall Station in Seoul, and after filling up on good food I could enjoy the rest of the day happily.
I liked how the ingredients came together in the bacon cheeseburger, and the combination of crispy bread and savory cheese in the patty melt stayed with me. It's a fine place for anyone near City Hall Station or Euljiro 1-ga wanting a light but tasty handmade burger meal, and also for people who want a simple drink with a burger in the evening.
