Gangnam hair salon volume magic for frizzy hairline + layers: Park Jun

I dye my hair a lot, so it's dry, and with this humid weather my frizz is out of control! I just got a repair volume magic (straightening perm) in Gangnam and I'm completely satisfied. My hair got so much better! Let's start with the before and after photos!

The moment I walked in I was amazed by the classy interior and cozy atmosphere! The staff guided me step by step from the entrance, so I was in a great mood right away!

They gave me a cold drink as welcome tea, which was so nice! I left my clothes in a locker and changed into a gown, and they took care of every little detail like that, so kindly! No wonder it's a Sinnonhyeon, Gangnam salon!!! It wasn't crowded, and since I came at my reserved time it felt totally private! I thought this was a perfect Seocho-dong salon to get your hair done in comfort and quiet!

Consultation with junior stylist Yeonjae, and why I chose the Re-born repair magic

I met Yeonjae, the junior stylist who did my hair today, and talked through my hair worries in detail! For a salon at Sinnonhyeon Station, the prices were also better than I expected!!

I was surprised by how kindly and thoroughly she talked with me! My hair is quite damaged from frequent dyeing, so we decided on a layered cut and the "Re-born repair magic" to suit its condition today! As you'd expect from a high-end salon, they brought drinks and snacks too!! She picked up my hair in really thin sections, strand by strand, to apply the product!! My frizz is especially bad along the forehead line and sideburns and it has always stressed me out! She caught that spot right away and checked it carefully piece by piece, the very definition of attention to detail, haha

After rinsing, she spread the magic out with a flat iron! Along the way she used a pH-balancing product and heat protectant, so she put a lot of effort into it! I think it took about 3 hours total!! Then came the cream neutralizing step,

and after washing, I dried my hair!! It was so, so soft! This is the first time my hair kept its moisture and even got better after a magic treatment!! It's a nutrition care that pulls in moisture and keeps it, so I barely felt any damage! After drying, she also fine-tuned the lines of the layered cut, and I loved it!!

The finished volume magic: does it stay smooth on humid days?

People around me complimented my hair too, so it was a proper mood refresher, haha. Even a week later, how well it holds is amazing! I recommend this Sinnonhyeon Station salon!
