I was looking for a good gamjatang (pork bone stew) place near Yeongdeungpo-gu Office and found one with great KakaoMap reviews!! Everyone said it was delicious, so I went straight over~~!!
Inside Dangsan Ppyeodaegwi Haejangguk

It was really busy right up until closing. Lots of people clearly already know this place, haha. Groups of all sizes came, from 1–2 people up to 4–6!!
Honestly, for a dinner with a drink, nothing beats gamjatang~~~ There's also a restroom inside, which was super convenient.

Pressed pork slices (pyeonyuk) are only ₩5,000 too, so they'd make a nice side.
₩9,000 pork bone soup and ₩4,000 soju: what I ordered
That day I ordered the ₩9,000 bone soup and ₩4,000 soju. Bone soup at ₩9,000 is already rare, but soju at ₩4,000,, truly precious 💓 A gamjatang spot near Yeongdeungpo-gu Office with perfect value💓

The side dishes are similar to what you get elsewhere.

Black pepper is a must with gamjatang and bone soup, and it's already sitting on the table, which I loved~~

A glass of soju with bone soup~~ obviously!!! It was dinner time, and everyone was having soju with their gamjatang or bone soup, haha. I couldn't lose, so I joined in 🙌🏻

How does the pork bone soup taste at Dangsan Ppyeodaegwi Haejangguk?
The food comes out fast, which I liked, and you can choose spicy or mild broth! I had the mild one and it was delicious, haha.

Ahh, this is it, this is what a Korean meal is all about. They also pack the rice bowl really full.
First, pepper, pepper, pepper on top~~ (You have to add lots of pepper to make it amazing!!! Really!!!)

I tried the meat first?? Wow... it's so tender... The meat matters a lot to me in bone soup, and the meat here is really tender and tasty,, insanely good.
I instantly understood why it was so crowded,, and why the KakaoMap reviews were so good. I'm officially reserving my spot as a regular from today!!!!

The siraegi (dried radish greens) is silky soft and insanely good too!!!! From now on, this is my go-to Yeongdeungpo-gu Office bone soup place🥇 🩷Dangsan Ppyeodaegwi Haejangguk🩷

Put meat, greens and broth in one bite and it's straight to heaven!!!

Then shovel in some carbs too and the day's healing is complete!!! Happiness isn't complicated~~ If you want truly delicious bone soup or gamjatang, head to Dangsan Ppyeodaegwi Haejangguk.
