Is One Play Jamsil Branch a good stop before a Jamsil Baseball Stadium game?
One Play Jamsil Branch is a Nintendo and manga café near Saenae Station and the Jamsil food alley, so it's a great indoor spot to kill time before a game at Jamsil Baseball Stadium. I was looking for somewhere indoors to stop by before watching baseball in Jamsil, and ended up at this Jamsil Nintendo café. It was a weekend, so it was pretty crowded, with couples, groups of friends and families. Since it's near the stadium, lots of people were killing time before the first pitch, and I spotted quite a few baseball jerseys. It's close to Saenae Station too, so I thought it would make a good indoor date in Jamsil.

- Address: 20 Baekjegobun-ro 7-gil, Songpa-gu, Seoul (floors 2 and 3)
- Location: about 7 minutes on foot from Exit 4 of Saenae Station
- Hours: daily 10:00–24:00
Being near the Jamsil food alley makes it easy to reach, and it's a nice place to visit after a meal. We went on a weekend afternoon and, as you'd expect from a popular spot, people kept coming in. There were lots of dating couples, friends there to play games, and families with kids. Quite a few people were in baseball jerseys, so it seems to be a popular pre-game stop.

What's on the 2nd and 3rd floors of One Play Jamsil Branch?
Floor 3 has the manga plus the payment, drink and food pickup, and return zone, while floor 2 is made up of rooms for board games, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and OTT. With the activities split by floor, you can pick whatever suits your taste, and having payment, pickup and return together on floor 3 made getting around easy.

Floor 2 is laid out as individual rooms where you can enjoy everything from board games to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and OTT. Having so much content in one place made it even more satisfying.
What manga does One Play's Jamsil manga café carry?
The manga on floor 3 of One Play Jamsil Branch has quite a range, from new releases to familiar popular series. With so many volumes, I figured an hour or two would fly by. Plenty of people were quietly reading, so the mood was relaxing. There are thousands of manga volumes and the latest webtoons, so picking is half the fun. A webtoon I'd read recently was out as a book, and I was so happy to see it, haha.

Board game rules explained with NFC cards
One Play Jamsil Branch has board games of every kind for 2 players up to big groups, and if you tap the NFC card you get at entry to your phone, you can read the rules for each game. With such a variety, it's a perfect spot for a board game indoor date in Jamsil~ You can choose by the number of players, and the explanations make the games easy to pick up.

The Nintendo games come in lots of varieties too. It's not just one title; you can choose from several, so you can play whatever suits the people you came with. It's fun to compete against friends, and the mood is great for a couple's date too. Now that I've been, I understand why people look for a Nintendo café in Jamsil.
Does One Play Jamsil Branch charge differently on weekdays and weekends?

On weekdays you can choose a 1-hour plan, and there's also a ₩10,000 unlimited-use weekday event, while weekends and holidays run on package plans. When I checked before visiting, weekdays and weekends worked a bit differently, so it's worth checking before you go.

There's cake to go with your drink, and the eye-catcher was a Louis Vuitton cake on the bottom shelf. I was amazed to see a Louis Vuitton cake at a Jamsil Nintendo café!
One Play Jamsil Branch review, KakaoTalk and stamp promotions

One Play Jamsil Branch gives one free drink if you write a review with photos on a receipt review or an Instagram story. Not just a receipt review but an Instagram story too, wow! You can choose iced tea, cola or an Americano.

Add them as a friend on KakaoTalk and you get a gift. It's an exclusive event at the Jamsil branch: add the One Play channel on KakaoTalk, spin the roulette and get a coupon. Everyone wins 100% after adding the channel, with prizes like popcorn, a chocolate brownie, iced tea or an Americano, honey butter bread, and even one free hour! So many perks, so add them as a friend and get your gift.

They also hand out coupons by stamp count. Stamps stack regardless of how many people are in your group, so they'd be easy to collect, right? Best of all, stamps work at every branch, and collecting 30 earns you merchandise, which is very tempting.
Streaming while waiting, with an Americano and chocolate cake

At One Play Jamsil Branch, we started with a timed plan that includes a drink and played around watching OTT. It was nice to watch a movie and chat comfortably. Afterwards we waited a little to use the Nintendo, but we weren't bored while waiting. You can watch OTT or read manga, so time actually flew.

We chose the Americano included in the timed plan and also ordered one chocolate cake. The strong Americano and sweet chocolate cake went together better than I expected. It was an easy bite to have during a break from gaming. They sell everything from meals to desserts, so it looked fine for a long stay too.

Trying Nintendo at a Jamsil Nintendo café before buying one
I played Nintendo games for the first time at One Play Jamsil Branch. I'd wanted to play, and I was glad I could experience it at a Jamsil Nintendo café. You just pick one from the many games and play! I'd been wondering whether to buy a Nintendo for home, and thanks to visiting this Jamsil Nintendo café, I got to try it before buying.

Who is One Play Jamsil Branch best for?
If you only want a plain manga café in Jamsil, it might feel like a bit much, but One Play Jamsil Branch put manga, OTT, Nintendo, PlayStation and board games all in one place, and I was very satisfied. It suits couples looking for a date spot, as well as get-togethers with friends and family outings. The location is also great for killing time before or after a baseball game, so it's very handy, and I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy a variety of content indoors all day.
