Seoul Korean BBQ date in Euljiro with Fine Avenue parking: Neoaehanu

I visited Neoaehanu (너애하누), a hanwoo (Korean beef) restaurant near Euljiro 3-ga Station in Seoul. Euljiro is full of office workers, so lots of people hunt for a spot for company dinners, and lots of others look for a nice date spot. Neoaehanu ticked every box for me: an upscale atmosphere, a private-feeling space and quality hanwoo, so I really want to recommend it.

Where is Neoaehanu, and is there parking?

Neoaehanu is on the 2nd floor of a building at 8 Euljiro 9-gil, Jung-gu, Seoul, within walking distance of Euljiro 3-ga Station. If you park at Fine Avenue (100 Euljiro, Jung-gu, Seoul), they give you a 2-hour parking ticket! (Only when you order meat, though!)

It's one car per table, and two cars if you're a party of four or more, so keep that in mind~

The moment I climbed the stairs and stepped inside Neoaehanu, the upscale atmosphere got me excited. The whole interior is clean and stylish, and it really left an impression.

Is Neoaehanu in Euljiro good for dates and company dinners?

What I liked most is that each seat is set up like its own separate space. They aren't fully closed rooms, but they feel private, so it's great for a date and looked just as fine for a family meal.

There's also a group seating area at the back, so it looked good for company dinners and all kinds of gatherings too. Unlike a noisy regular BBQ joint, it felt calmer and more relaxed to eat in.

Neoaehanu menu and prices

That day I ordered the Neoaehanu Set for 2. It's ₩49,000 per person, with 150g each, so you get 300g of hanwoo in total:

• 1++ striploin
• 1++ rib finger
• 1++ brisket

How good is the meat in the Neoaehanu Set for 2?

As you'd expect from 1++ hanwoo, the marbling was really good, and even the color of the fresh meat stood out. Even while taking photos, I just wanted to hurry up and grill it.

I'd made a reservation, so the table was already nicely set, and the banchan (side dishes) were the kind that go well with meat, so they tasted great.

Do staff grill the meat for you at Neoaehanu?

Yes, the staff grill it for you from start to finish. That was the best part for me. The striploin came out first, full of nutty flavor with a lovely tender texture.

The rib finger got juicier the more I chewed, and I could fully enjoy that deep, rich hanwoo flavor. The brisket was so rich and nutty, and eaten with rice it was really delicious.

They grill each piece carefully at just the right moment and place the cooked meat on your small plate one by one, so the meal was really comfortable. Since you don't have to grill anything yourself, you can focus on the conversation, which makes it especially good for dates, family meals and company dinners.

The shrimp was my favorite..>_< The well-cooked potato was a treat too!

Neoaehanu in Euljiro: final verdict

Overall, Neoaehanu was a hanwoo restaurant in Euljiro where I was happy with the atmosphere, the service and the quality of the meat. If you want to enjoy good hanwoo in a private-feeling space, I'd recommend it for dates, of course, but also for family gatherings, business entertaining and group company dinners.
