Rainy weeknight window seat monjayaki and spicy yakisoba: Jojo Yeonnam
Jojo Yeonnam Branch is an okonomiyaki and monjayaki teppanyaki restaurant on Donggyo-ro in Yeonnam-dong, Mapo, Seoul. On a rainy weekday at 7:30pm we got a window seat with no wait and ate mentaiko mochi monjayaki, spicy yakisoba, and volcano potato with yuzu-sawa while a staff member cooked the monjayaki tableside on the griddle. It was our first time trying monjayaki, and it turned out to be as fun to watch as it was to eat — a great fit for a Yeonnam date.
