French rack and lamb chops near Jeongja Station: Nokji Bundang Jeongja

Nokji Bundang Jeongja Branch is a beef and lamb grill restaurant an 8-minute walk from Jeongja Station in Seongnam, Gyeonggi. The order was 2 servings of French rack lamb and 1 serving of lamb chop meat, grilled tableside by staff who explained each cut, plus a truffle soy-egg sauce and mentaiko (pollock roe) green onion rice. The French rack was tender and the lamb chop meat chewy, making this a solid pick even for someone trying lamb for the first time.

Kirby on Nintendo Switch with a 1st grader: One Play Jamsil, Songpa

One Play Jamsil Branch is a manga café and multi-game space in Songpa, Seoul, spanning the 2nd and 3rd floors between Jamsil Saenae and Jonghap Undongjang stations. The writer visited with a first-grade child who had been begging to play Nintendo Switch, browsing manga on the 3rd floor before playing Kirby in a private room on the 2nd floor. With manga, board games, consoles and OTT all available to switch between, it was a solid spot to spend two to three hours with a kid.
