Where is Berg I'Park Mall Yongsan?
Berg I'Park Mall Yongsan is an ice cream and coffee café on the 6th floor of Yongsan I'Park Mall The Center, with its entrance right next to the CGV cinema ticket booth. It is 26m from Exit 2 of Yongsan Station, and it is open Mon–Fri 10:30–22:00 and Sat–Sun 10:00–22:00.
Berg I'Park Mall Yongsan is a café near Yongsan Station selling smooth soft serve and levain cookies (thick, chunky American-style cookies). It feels like even more people head to the cinema since the movie 왕과 사는 남자 came out.

It's in a perfect spot for a sugar recharge before or after a movie. The soft serve lineup is the famous part, but there are also levain cookies, coffee, and non-coffee drinks. Once summer vacation starts, it'll be hard to walk past with the kids on a cinema outing.
What is the Berg Combo, a good pick for the cinema?
The Berg Combo at Berg I'Park Mall Yongsan comes with a levain cookie & butter bar plus soft serve for ₩7,900. It's set up like the cinema's popcorn combo but ₩1,100 cheaper, so I recommend it as a movie snack.

Berg signature soft serve menu and prices
The Berg signature soft serves are the kadayif soft (₩8,500), NY butter soft (₩7,500), and Ibeuje (₩7,500). Befitting premium ice cream, the build and look are far from ordinary. From the kadayif soft for Dubai-dessert fans to Ibeuje, a cold brew ice cream latte, you get a luxurious kind of sweetness.

There are lots of flavors to pick from, from the currently most popular ube latte (₩6,500) to the grandma-taste black sesame (₩7,500) and injeolmi (roasted soybean rice cake, ₩7,500). The cinema soft is piled with sweet-and-salty popcorn toppings, a great movie dessert, and it's sold only at CGV Yongsan.

How do you choose the soft serve flavor and cone?
For Berg soft serve, pick one of three flavors (milk, strawberry, chocolate), then choose a cup or a cone. The cup has no extra charge, while cones cost extra depending on the type.
- Milk ₩4,500 / strawberry ₩5,000 / chocolate ₩5,000
- Cup: ₩0 extra
- Plain cone +₩1,300
- Choco pistachio cone +₩1,700
- Kadayif cone +₩1,900
Soft serve is better in a cone than a cup! And I figure the kadayif cone would taste best~~ So my own custom order would be chocolate ice cream + kadayif cone.

Berg levain cookie types and prices
Berg I'Park Mall Yongsan is also known for its thick levain cookies. There are three, triple chocolate, double chocolate, and matcha crumble, all ₩4,500.

What I took out from Berg I'Park Mall Yongsan
This day at Berg I'Park Mall Yongsan I took out a cold brew latte (₩6,500), a lemonade (₩7,000), a triple chocolate cookie (₩4,500), and a matcha crumble cookie (₩4,500). I saved the ice cream for next time and ordered cold drinks and levain cookies.

Cold brew latte and lemonade
The cold brew latte has great flavor~ cool and tasty down to the last sip.

The lemonade was for my mom, who was taking the KTX (Korea's high-speed train). Like in a drama, I dashed onto the train, handed her the drink, and hopped off. It was quite hot that day, and she texted me that it was cool and refreshing.

How does the matcha crumble levain cookie taste?
The matcha crumble levain cookie at Berg isn't very matcha-heavy, so you can enjoy it whether or not you're a matcha fan. Maybe it's because I love breads with loads of crumble (soboro) on top,, but this matcha soboro cookie is really good.

It's not very sweet, so this levain cookie goes well with coffee too. It's thick, so one alone is plenty of dessert~

How do you get free weekend parking at Yongsan I'Park Mall?
On weekends you can't use the Yongsan I'Park Mall app's free parking ticket, but you can go to a shop that registers free parking when you order, like Berg I'Park Mall Yongsan. The writer ordered at Berg and registered 1 hour of free parking.
Many of you probably know that if you download the Yongsan Station I'Park Mall app, you get 300 minutes of free parking a month. I like the flexibility of using the free tickets freely within that 300-minute total. The problem is that it can't be used on weekends. Also, the Yongsan Station I'Park Mall car park has no turnaround time. ㅜㅜ Even a quick trip to drop someone at the KTX means paying for parking.
The nice thing when you have to park on weekends is that some I'Park Mall restaurants give free parking. Berg I'Park Mall Yongsan is one of them.. I ordered, registered 1 hour of free parking, and saw my mom off just fine. Don't just pay the parking fee; have a sweet dessert or coffee and park free at Yongsan I'Park Mall.
