Women’s running set for yoga comfort: Everlast Running Crew

I received the Everlast Women’s Running Crew Set to try on. It consists of a running jacket and bootcut pants. I had planned to wear it for outdoor running, but the weather suddenly turned cold, so I wore it for indoor yoga instead.

What size works if you usually wear S–M?

At the time of the original post, it came in sizes 90–105 and black, ash blue, and lavender. I go back and forth between S and M normally, and the ash blue size 95 fit me well.

I wanted the running jacket and pants to match, and I liked how the set looked together.

How are the jacket zipper and pockets designed?

There was a zipper shelter around the front zipper slider to keep it from touching the skin directly. The slider also had an auto-lock function to prevent it from slipping down.

The left pocket had a concealed zipper that was not very noticeable from the outside. You can put belongings inside and zip it closed. The zipper follows the side seam, so it did not disrupt the garment’s lines much, and the jacket fit close to the body.

What do the fabric feel and care instructions say?

The nylon-and-polyurethane fabric felt cool and stretchy when I wore it.

The care instructions in the original post say to machine-wash at 30°C with a neutral detergent. Do not use chlorine or oxygen bleach, or a tumble dryer. It also noted that using a dryer may alter the size or fit.

How do the sleeve thumbholes work?

There have been times while running when only my hands felt chilly and I needed gloves. This jacket has thumbholes in the sleeves, so putting my thumbs through them covered the backs of my hands.

I also took a look at the Everlast logo on the clothing.

How do the bootcut pants fit, and what storage do they have?

I chose the pants in the same ash blue size 95 as the jacket.

The pants use the same fabric as the top, and the care instructions were the same too.

Because they are bootcut, my legs looked longer and slimmer to my eye. I find wearing leggings as everyday clothes a little burdensome, so lately I prefer bootcut styles like these.

There was a drawstring inside the waist, so it did not feel cumbersome. In addition to side pockets, there were pockets at the hips, giving me several storage options. They seemed large enough for lightweight items such as a card or card wallet.

The overlock stitching at the hems was neatly done as well.

Was it comfortable to move in during yoga?

I wore the jacket and pants together to an indoor yoga session.

It felt calmly cool against my skin, clung nicely to my body, and was easy to move in. This try-on was for indoor yoga, so I did not test how it feels while running outdoors.

I felt it had plenty of stretch for yoga too.

The length of size 95 also fit me well at 167 cm and 53–54 kg.

The jacket has a two-way zipper, so I could adjust how much it opened from the top and bottom. The length that fit me well and the stretch for yoga were what I especially liked.
