As my hair has grown longer, the ends have become dry and rough, and the overall shine is not what it used to be. This time, rather than simply getting a cut, I wanted to try a hair treatment as we move into autumn. When hair is damaged, it never quite looks polished no matter how much I blow-dry it. The person in charge of my hair this time was Director Gu Min-seon. Rather than starting the service right away, she first looked over my hair condition and began with a consultation about what would be best to tidy up~

Rather than cutting a lot of length, I wanted to keep the overall length while trimming the parts that looked messy and focusing on my dry, rough texture. With women’s hair, how the overall silhouette and the ends fall is more important than cutting a few centimeters, right? ^^ The director explained what was needed as she looked at my hair condition, so I could go ahead without feeling pressured.

The Premium Hair Care S Course process

What I was looking forward to most during this visit was the Premium Hair Care S Course. The S Course I received was not simply a treatment applied and finished. It began with internal hair peeling and a deep detox for metallic residue, followed by premium coating care that nourishes the hair from within.

I normally use only shampoo and treatment, so I was curious how professional hair care would differ. Since the care was carried out carefully step by step, it definitely felt different from using treatment at home alone.

I was especially concerned about the dryness and roughness at my ends, and as the care progressed, I could feel the hair surface becoming more orderly. Of course, one clinic treatment does not completely restore damaged hair itself, but I was satisfied with the softness and tidiness I felt when running my hand through my hair afterward.

One part of the S Course that I personally loved was the Verspa full-body massage chair. I had expected to have only my hair cared for at a salon, but reclining comfortably for a full-body massage while the treatment continued felt like taking a little break.

When you get a perm, color, or clinic treatment at a salon, your neck or back can become uncomfortable as the time goes on, so I liked being able to receive care so comfortably. ^^ I came to care for my hair, and it felt as though my body relaxed too. Haha.

So rather than for someone wanting to get their hair done quickly and leave, I think it would suit people who want to allow a little extra time and receive thorough care.

Trimmed and tidied ends

Along with the hair care, I also had my hair trimmed overall. Rather than cutting off much length, I wanted to preserve my existing style while tidying the messy parts, and Director Gu Min-seon shaped it naturally in line with what I wanted.

Even a small trim makes the whole impression look much cleaner when the ends are tidied. With the hair care as well, it definitely felt calmer and more polished. I especially liked that after it was dried and styled at the end, it looked shinier and the texture appeared much softer. ^^

My experience with the S Course care

This time, I visited with the thought, “Let’s tidy the damaged parts and make my hair texture look neat,” rather than making a major style change, and I was satisfied with the result. What was especially nice was that I could have the overall shape and condition of my hair taken care of at once by receiving a cut along with the treatment.

The S Course includes everything from the deep detox to care that nourishes the inside of the hair, plus the Verspa chair, so I thought it was a good program to try for people who feel that home care alone is not enough.
