Suwon cake café: fresh grapefruit ade & fig slice to go, Café Diaz
In short
Café Diaz Galleria Gwanggyo is a takeout-only cake café on basement level 1 of Galleria Gwanggyo in Suwon, Gyeonggi, near the food court. Already happy with the Café Diaz Ingye and KT Wiz Park branches, the writer took away a fig cake slice, a grapefruit ade and an iced Americano and enjoyed them with a view of Gwanggyo Lake Park. Café Diaz Galleria Gwanggyo has no seats, but the fig slice piled generously with figs and the grapefruit ade full of fresh grapefruit made it a satisfying visit.

What is Café Diaz Galleria Gwanggyo like?
Café Diaz Galleria Gwanggyo is a takeout-only cake café on B1 of Galleria Gwanggyo. I've already been to the Café Diaz Ingye branch and the one near the KT Wiz Park stadium and loved both, and since I had a reason to be at Galleria Gwanggyo, I stopped by this one too.
There are no seats inside, only takeout, but you can eat right nearby with a view of Gwanggyo Lake Park, which honestly made it even better. Very satisfied, highly recommend Café Diaz Galleria Gwanggyo!!!!

What did I order at Café Diaz Gwanggyo?
I ordered one fig slice cake, plus a grapefruit ade and an iced Americano. As you'd expect from Café Diaz, there was a big display of cake slices.
Parking and location
Parking at the Galleria department store was roomy and easy. Café Diaz Gwanggyo is on B1 by the food court, so you could grab other takeout food too and eat it all together.

Why Café Diaz cakes are so popular
Café Diaz is definitely popular for its cakes. The prices are a bit high, but they pile on plenty of fresh fruit that earns the price, and I think that's why people love them.

The Gwanggyo branch also has spoonable cakes, so there's an easy-to-eat option too. They seem just right for eating casually.

Is Café Diaz cake good packed up as an outdoor dessert?
Café Diaz cake is easy to pack up, spread out a picnic mat and enjoy with coffee as dessert. I'm not exactly camping, but I recently bought just a table and chairs and set them up anywhere with a nice view for a simple outing, and after chicken and beer, a cake like this makes a smart dessert.

How are the grapefruit ade and iced Americano at Café Diaz?
The grapefruit ade is packed with fresh grapefruit, so it was fresh and tangy with just the right bitterness, delicious. The iced Americano had a nice touch of acidity too, and it was good!!!

Pretty sky, a great Gwanggyo Lake Park view, and perfect for a quick drink while shopping :) Café Diaz Galleria Gwanggyo is a great place to take away something cold and relax. The drinks are seriously good, but the desserts are the real showstopper.

How was the fig slice cake at Café Diaz?
The fig slice cake was topped with a whole load of figs and was so delicious. Figs must be expensive, and they still piled them on so generously..!
And the fresh cream isn't very sweet either, so this is one of the only cakes I genuinely enjoy.
A dessert café to stop at while shopping at Galleria Gwanggyo
I'd gone to Galleria Gwanggyo and started craving sweet dessert and coffee, so I dropped by Café Diaz Gwanggyo 🤎 When you're shopping you sometimes want a short break, and a cup of coffee with dessert then is a small happiness.
Even the name of Café Diaz feels so sentimental that it's a place worth stopping at once if you visit Galleria Gwanggyo. Sweet dessert with fragrant coffee melts away the fatigue from shopping. ☕🍰
It's a good short break while chatting with a friend or on a date, and also fine for a relaxed solo coffee time. Galleria Gwanggyo has plenty of food and cafés besides shopping, so it seems like an appealing outing spot too.
If you're looking for a dessert café in Gwanggyo, put Café Diaz Gwanggyo on your list. 💗 I hope to spend a sweet time with tasty dessert on my next Gwanggyo outing too!
