Why did I try it instead of cleansing tissues?

I usually used cleansing tissues because they were convenient, but after using them and then cleansing foam, my skin could feel dry quickly. I tried a cleansing balm to thoroughly remove light makeup or sunscreen on summer days.

What are the charcoal cleansing balm's texture and cleansing process like?

The product was black like charcoal and had a dense balm texture. At first, I worried it might remain on my skin, but it melted like an oil on contact with body heat and generally rinsed away well after I added water to emulsify it.

I massaged the soft balm over my face for about 30 seconds, then added water to emulsify it. I finished by lightly washing with cleansing foam.

How did I adjust the amount for different levels of makeup?

On days when I wore light makeup, I used about one-third of a spatula; on days with heavier makeup, I used about one-half. I applied a thin layer over my face and a slightly thicker layer on my nose, where blackheads concerned me.

How did it feel after cleansing, especially around the nose?

I was satisfied because my skin felt less immediately dry right after cleansing. My skin texture is generally fine, but blackheads and whiteheads bothered me, and it was convenient to use when focusing on care around my nose. This is my personal experience.
