Charcoal cleansing balm for acne-prone skin: HEEDA Radiance 100ml

How did I use HEEDA cleansing balm?

Because I have acne-prone skin, I tend to choose cleansing products carefully. I spread the product evenly over my dry face, then rolled it mainly around my nose, where sebum and blackheads concern me.

• I spread the product over my dry face.
• I massaged areas of pore concern in circles with my fingers.
• I wet my hands and emulsified the product until it turned white.
• I rinsed with lukewarm water and followed with skincare.

What were the texture and included tools like?

It had a dark sherbet-balm texture. Although it looked firm, it melted relatively quickly when rubbed with the spatula or my hands, and it did not run like an oil, so I worried less about getting it on my clothes or the floor while using it.

Inside the container were a clear inner lid and a separate spatula. It was easy to scoop out only the amount I needed, and it felt hygienic for storage too.

How did it feel after rolling and emulsifying?

I adjusted it according to whether I was wearing makeup and the condition of my sebum, but usually rolled it for within 2–3 minutes. When I added water, it seemed to emulsify quickly, and after rinsing, it finished feeling refreshed even without using another cleansing product.

How did the sebum and blackhead areas around my nose look?

After one use, the sebum that had felt like little grains along my face line, along with whiteheads and blackheads on and in front of the sides of my nose, seemed somewhat cleared away. Still, I plan to use it more and keep an eye on the condition. My skin did not feel severely tight or sore after cleansing.

What should I check when storing it?

The instructions said to store it away from direct sunlight and excessively hot environments. The product contains naturally derived ingredients and charcoal, and the original description introduced it as a vegan cosmetic product made without animal-derived ingredients.
