How did I use the HEEDA cleansing balm?

I tried it on a full face of makeup. I scooped out the solid balm with the spatula built into the lid, applied it to my face, and massaged it in for about 30 seconds.

Next, I added water to emulsify it, massaged for about another 30 seconds, and washed my face. The original post recommends a second cleanse, so I finished with cleansing foam.

How well did it remove makeup, and how did my skin feel afterward?

I usually use lip-and-eye remover first and then a cleansing product, but this time I skipped that step. I found that it removed even mascara well.

After washing, my face felt less tight—the tightness I usually feel even in summer. This is a personal-use impression worth considering if you do not like cleansing balms that leave behind an oily or residue-like feeling.

What was convenient about the container and texture?

It is a black solid-balm formula, and the spatula is built into the lid, which helped reduce the annoyance of product getting under my nails. The original post says it contains Korean Jirisan charcoal and 13 naturally derived ingredients.
