Foam cleanser for oily sensitive skin: HEEDA Jirisan Charcoal
In short
HEEDA Jirisan Moist Charcoal Hydrating Cleansing Foam is a low-pH foam cleanser I used morning and night on oily, sensitive skin in Korea. It lathered well with a small amount and left my skin feeling fresh rather than slippery, while removing most sunscreen and light makeup.

How did it feel on oily, sensitive skin morning and night?

I have oily, sensitive skin and use a foam cleanser in the morning too. I used this product daily, morning and night; even a small amount lathered well, so in the morning I used about half of a bean-sized squeeze.

After washing, it felt fresh rather than slippery. If you tend to worry about the slippery feel associated with low-pH cleansers, this may be useful to know.

How did it remove sunscreen and light makeup?

I do not wear makeup often, but I apply sunscreen every day. When I cleansed with this product alone, I felt that it removed most of my sunscreen. It also cleansed light color makeup, and it foamed well when I added a little water and gently rolled it over my skin.

I also tested its cleansing with tint and saw it come off after rolling. On days when I wore heavy makeup, I removed it first with a cleansing balm, then used this product as a second cleanse.

What stood out about the ingredients and packaging?

It was described as containing Jirisan charcoal, seven-layer hyaluronic acid, and Aqua Ceramide. The packaging made with eco-friendly materials and soy ink, along with its clean, simple appearance, also stood out to me.

It said that use within 12 months of opening is recommended.
