Suragan Tteokbang is an omegi-tteok (glutinous rice cake) shop on Noyeon-ro in Jeju City, Jeju. On the last day of a trip, the writer called ahead to reserve a 20-piece gift box (₩22,000) for pickup on the way to the airport, froze it at home, and ate the tangerine, black sesame, soybean powder, and red bean flavors one night after a 30-second microwave zap.
