When you want a coffee and a sweet dessert around Jamsil-Saenae, it can be hard to decide where to go. There are so many cafés near Saenae Station that a nice atmosphere matters, but so does whether the menu and prices are easy enough to visit every day.
This time I visited Young Coffee Jamsil Trizium. It was a good spot for a quick coffee or takeout in the middle of a busy day, a handy Jamsil-Saenae café for dessert.

Young Coffee is a specialty coffee brand with a wide range of coffee and non-coffee drinks, and each branch has a menu that's easy on the wallet!

Young Coffee Jamsil Trizium: location and opening hours
Young Coffee Jamsil Trizium is at 30 Baekjegobun-ro 19-gil, Songpa-gu, Seoul, and it's open daily 07:30–23:00. It opens early, so it's great for grabbing coffee before work.

The blue exterior looks refreshing just by itself.

How much is an americano at Young Coffee?
The americano at Young Coffee Jamsil Trizium is ₩1,900. The menu is good and the prices are cheap, so it's no burden to drink every day! I walked in with high hopes because of that ₩1,900 americano sign!

A separate takeout register for quick ordering
Young Coffee Jamsil Trizium has a separate register in one corner of the shop just for takeout. I thought it was smart that they set it up so people ordering inside and takeout waits don't get long!
When I visited, lots of people had dropped by just for a quick coffee. The vibe is more of a stop before work or at lunchtime to pick up coffee than a place to spend a long time. It seemed like a good fit for people looking for a Jamsil-Saenae café to quietly drink coffee or grab takeout.

Is there something for both coffee lovers and dessert fans?
Young Coffee Jamsil Trizium has everything from basic coffee to lattes, non-coffee drinks and summer-season mango bingsu (shaved ice dessert), so it works for groups with different tastes. I prefer cafés that aren't too expensive or limited, where a coffee person and a sweet-drink person can each find what they want.
I don't like sweet drinks myself, but some of my friends only drink sweet ones and some don't drink coffee at all, so it sometimes matters whether the menu covers everyone's needs!

It's summer, so mango bingsu is on as a seasonal item, and the first 10 bowls are sold at ₩9,900. Isn't that like a tenth of the price of Shilla Hotel's mango bingsu...?
With mango bingsu on top of that, Young Coffee Jamsil Trizium offers everything from basic coffee to lattes and non-coffee drinks, so it's easy to choose by taste. You can pick medium, dark or decaf beans for your americano, and there are softer options like café latte and vanilla latte too.

Inside Young Coffee Jamsil Trizium: good for laptop work?
The inside of Young Coffee Jamsil Trizium is quite spacious with clean interiors, so it was a good space to work on a laptop alone!

The inside is also done in a vivid, unified blue, so it felt cool and fresh! There's even a pretty mirror for photos, so Young Coffee Jamsil Trizium has the photo spot covered too.

In one corner they also sell merchandise, coffee beans and cold brew, which gave it a professional café feel.

What I ordered and how much it cost
- Sikhutte (after-meal latte) ₩3,500
- Taro bubble tea 1.1L ₩10,300
- Hwangchi cheese cookie ₩3,400
- Pig Bar cookie ₩3,400
Every name had its own charm, so choosing was surprisingly hard. I agonized between the Sikhutte and the Skinny Latte (low-fat milk plus decaf beans), but I'd just eaten and was craving something sweet, so I went with the Sikhutte!
What does the Sikhutte after-meal latte taste like?
Young Coffee's Sikhutte (₩3,500) is a sweet latte topped with creamy cream, and it was nice and light after a meal. It's soft and sweet rather than heavy or strong, so it really suits drinking after a meal, as the name says. You know how after eating you want coffee but a very bitter americano feels like too much? I thought this was a good choice for that.

How was the 1.1L taro bubble tea?
Young Coffee's 1.1L taro bubble tea is ₩10,300, and it was one of the things I was most looking forward to that day 🧋 The sweet, nutty taste of taro with chewy pearls made it feel like a dessert drink. Taro fans should enjoy it without trouble, and if you usually like sweet drinks, it's worth trying once when you're looking for a Jamsil-Saenae café.
Above all, Young Coffee's prices are so kind.. a huge 1.1L taro bubble tea for only ₩10,300...

Golden cheese cookie and Pig Bar cookie
Just drinks felt a little lacking, so I also ordered Young Coffee's hwangchi cheese cookie (cookie flavored with yellow cheese powder) and Pig Bar cookie (based on a Korean ice cream bar), ₩3,400 each. So many people love hwangchi desserts these days! I was curious because the moist hwangchi cookie is such a craze, and its salty, nutty flavor kept coming back to my mind!
Sweet drinks like the taro bubble tea plus a cookie could pile sweetness on sweetness, but the salty hwangchi flavor balanced it out in the middle, so they actually went well together.
Who is Young Coffee Jamsil Trizium best for?
Young Coffee Jamsil Trizium was a nice place for a simple drink and dessert near Saenae Station. It's fine for stopping by briefly for a tasty drink or taking desserts to go rather than spending long in the shop, and it suits people like me who crave something sweet after a meal and look for Jamsil-Saenae café desserts.
Since it opens early, I think it especially fits people looking for coffee before work or a Jamsil-Saenae café on weekday afternoons. If you want a coffee that isn't too heavy in Jamsil-Saenae, or a café where you and a friend can pair sweet drinks with desserts, Young Coffee Jamsil Trizium is worth remembering ☕️🍪 Cheers with a coffee today too, fighting!!!
