Spicy tonkotsu and mini buta-don at Myeonsikdang, a Dalseo ramen shop
Myeonsikdang Keimyung University Branch is a ramen and donkatsu (pork cutlet) restaurant on the second floor at the entrance of the food alley across from the east gate of Keimyung University's Seongseo campus in Dalseo, Daegu. Ordering by kiosk, the writer had the spicy tonkotsu ramen with handmade pork loin katsu, mozzarella cheese katsu, a fire-grilled mini buta-don (pork rice bowl) and a Shine Muscat ade, and found the heat about as sharp as Shin Ramyun. Open daily 09:00–20:50 with no break time, Myeonsikdang is an easy stop for students and families alike.
